A maintenance worker came out to replace the resin beads in our water softener system we had bought from them. They said we were still under warranty but they would be charging a labor fee and gave two different fees, which the send seemed to be for driving to us. After changing out the resin beads, the maintenance worker for EcoWater DUMPED the used resin beads into our yard (completely the incorrect way to dispose of the beads as they are to be treated as waste and double bagged). Worker did not ask if it was okay to dump it in our yard or even bother asking what to do with it even though we were home. When contacted, was informed that the supervisor is the one who came out, said they do not haul off the used resin because it leaves so much salt in their work tricks. Customer service agreed they are to treat it as waste and dispose if it. Supervisor said it isn't his used resin, refused to clean it or give any amount of a refund.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/10/13) */ EcoWater is happy to address customer issues, simply contact our office manager for assistance. EcoWater asks that all customers refrain from raising their voices and using fowl language. EcoWater reserves the right to deny service to any customer who refuses to speak to our staff in an appropriate and controlled manner. Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2021/10/14) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) We are semi-satisfied with their resolve. They offered to have someone come out and clean it up, but that was after many attempts to get someone to do the correct thing. The only reason that I, the wife, got heated with speaking to the supervisor was because he did begin lying about the resin when I already did my research on it and had the facts. So for him to lie to get away with him doing his job halfway, plus tell the customer that it is their used resin and act as if he didn't need to do squat did not settle right with me. Just because I'm female does not mean I need to be treated as if I don't know how certain things work so lie to me instead of admitting their wrong doings. It isn't acceptable and shouldn't be considered acceptable.
