      Ordered a flower arrangement to be delivered to my wife who is an ********** at ***************** When she arrived at work the flowers had been delivered but they were already dreadful in appearance. She sent me a pic and at first, I thought it was just a bad picture but when she brought them home, it was apparent I had wasted my money. This was intended to bring joy to my wife, but the arrangement was actually very depressing. The flowers were delivered approximately 3pm on Aug 19. I took the pic when she arrived home with them at 9am on Aug 20.

      We ordered flowers from Pughs Flowers in March for *************************** funeral, the mother of our best friend! I sent a picture while on the phone ***************************** at pughs flowers that we would like delivered. We discussed adding a few more roses tufted into the center and putting it up on an easel. ****** asked the designer while I was on the phone if she was able to do the cross I was wanted after looking at the picture I sent she sad yes and it would we a little over $400 . I AGREED and gave her my Amex after she promised she could deliver what I ordered. Pughs flowers did not expect our friend to send a picture of the horrible arrangement that the delivered from us! We were horrified that our grieving friend was sent this arrangement! She herself knew we would NEVER have sent such! I called pughs flowers the following business day and told them I would NOT PAY $400 for the pitiful arrangement they sent! ****** said she would speak to the owner and get back to me! Three days later I had to CALL THEM BACK. She put me on hold and said the owner would give me 20% off .. I said no I would pay$150 and that is more that what the arrangement was worth! She said she would call me back.. I told her I would call AMEX if I didnt hear back - AMEX then reviewed the claim and denied all payment after seeing the pictures! Pughs florist now has turned me into a collection agency!!!! Pughs flowers did not deliver what they promised for $400 to our grieving friends moms funeral! They would not except what the flower were worth but want FULL PAYMENT ! It was never about not paying it was not paying 400 for a pitiful arrangement I did not order - I can send pictures if needed *********************** ************

      I am rejecting this response because: I offered to PAY ****** for a HORRIBLE  flower arrangement that was delivered to our grieving friend in place of what was agreed upon being made for the funeral !! I was very specific on what I was ordering adding additional  roses to be tufted in as well!  We did NOT ORDER WHIMPY SPIDER MUMS AND FLOPPY ROSES for ******!!!!  At this point the mental stress of this is beyond anything I have ever experienced when ordering flowers that are suppose to bring love and joy ! I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE ******** I ordered from pughs and entrusted them to deliver what was ordered and they did NOT!! 
      I will not pay 400 for this arrangement- I would like them to withdrawal the claim to the credit collection agency!!  I am willing to pay for the wholesale cost of flowers /Easel/labor/delivery that is above and beyond what this whole experience is worth!!

      Pugh's Flowers responded by phone and offered a 25% discount i.e. $100 off the purchase price of $400.
