  i live out of state and needed a pluber in ******* ** to replace an water heater heater at my mothers property.i contacted mr ********************** and he came out the next day to look at the job.its the middle of winter and i explained to him that this needed immediate attention.hHe gave me a price much higher than any of the several companies i contacted but he stated the reason for the extra cost was the hot water tank was in the attic and needed to be moved down on the first floor to comply with code,and draining the existing tank and removing it would not be easy.he put the new tank in but left the old tank in the attic which he got paid for.He never mentioned to me that he had not or coiuld not take out the old tank.i found out from a tenant that the ceiling was cracking and dripping water, and prompted a look in the attic discovering that the job was incomplete,mr ********************** took this job fully aware of the tank needing to be drained and removed.it was clearly understood that he would be responsible for the removal of old tank. i only became aware of the incomplete job because ofv the ceiling leaking.I contacted Mr ********************** and he said he remembered the job but not the details and he would go back and remove the tank.After tht conversation i have called him and his office several times and have left numerous messages.This is really dissapointig and frustrating.To add insult to injury Mr ********************** at the time wanted bto be paid in advance for the job stating that he didnt know me .I paid in advance and never heard from him again ,i have gotten no response. i would that noone pay this man in advance unless you dont mind risking a incompletejob.Ive tried tirelessly trying to fullfill his commitment and the only reason he took advantage of the situation was because i live out of state and couldnt vertify.all this time i thought he removed the old tank because he was paid to remove it and did not mention that it was left behind.Integrity is what you do when noone is looking
