    Customer Complaint:
    BBB of the Mid-South contacted A1 Diabetes & Medical Supply on February 3, 2016, to express concern over the number of consumer complaints that had not been responded to and the pattern of complaints received. Complaints from the offices of doctors and other medical professionals allege that A1 Diabetes & Medical Supply requested authorization for devices that their patients had not requested.

    A representative of the company replied on February 10, 2016, and committed to respond to the unanswered complaints. The company stated that the only way that they would know the identity of a patient's medical provider was if that patient told them. Additionally, the company indicated that when consumers contact 1-800-MEDICARE directly, Medicare initiates a conference call with the supplier and begins the order process. Consumers are sometimes confused by this.

    Although A1 Diabetes & Medical Supply did respond to the previously unanswered complaints, we remain concerned about the pattern of complaints.

      I have been a customer of A1 Pharmacy since 2008. I have complained to them on many occasions that they have been sending me unneeded supplies for my diabetic condition. While I have only asked for test strips, they have sent me additional finger sticks, control strips, batteries, and finger pricking devices. I know that ******** is getting charged for these, which is not right. I moved 3 years ago and the dellivery system has gotten completely messed up, despite my constantly calling them , they continue to ship to the wrong address. 4 orders have been sent to old addresses. This error has caused me to have to purchase items at CVS Pharmacy so that I could Continue to test my blood. The last 3 orders were sent to my son's house, despite my telling them it was the wrong address. This has caused him to overnight the supplies to me, at a great cost. I called them again and they just said that they will change the address for future orders, but would offer no compensation for the costs my son and I have incurred. I am seeking compensation for cost incurred, including postage and items purchased . 3 mailings of $15 dollars each and the purchase of testing equipment $35 dollars.

      I am constantly being harassed by this company with endless phone calls for months even though I continually inform them that I am no longer interested in their products. Every time they say were sorry well take your number off calling list and never do. Its been four months already!! Stop f****** calling me!!! This is ridiculous - the last phone call came today from Saint ****** Queens ************..When you try to call and reach someone to complain the phone goes dead. This is definitely some kind of scam business using robocalls of some sort. This company needs to be shut down or fined and penalized in someway.

      I also ordered some supplies a long time ago from A1 Diabetes, and now I receive relentless calls from them. Like some of the other complainants, I have told them numerous times to stop calling, and they have ignored my requests. They are lying when they say that it is caused by a glitch in their system. They have no interest in fixing the glitch, and they keep calling. I will never do business with them again, but in the meantime, is there some way you can get them to stop calling?

      I am being attack with phone call & I don't use your company anymore & I have told caller many times, I want the calls stopped as it is a form of harassment. Please get them stopped before I seek more action..

This was our error and we have corrected the problem within our system. Calls should no longer go out to the phone number you have indicated in your contact information.       I ordered diabetic supplies from this company a few months ago and reordered supplies about a month later. Every 30 days or so I get calls from this company trying to get me to order more supplies, sometimes multiple calls in the same day. Each call has a different caller ID number and a different city/state. The company's name does not appear. The caller is clearly a computer. I have told the computer to stop calling me and got a response that my number would be removed from the calling list. The calls keep coming. Why would I want to continue doing business with a company that masks their Caller IDs and continues to harass me by calling after telling them to stop?

      I am a nurse for ************************* and ******************************* in an assisted living facility and have been submitting reorder requests for their diabetic testing supplies for over a month and they are completely out and having to use house supply. It says to allow up to 8 days for delivery of supplies but has been over a month and still nothing has arrived for either of theses 2 patients.

      My mother used to get diabetic supplies from A1 Diabetes. She changed insurance and has been getting her supplies through them. We have requested to cancelled several times with negative results. They call my phone and my mothers phone several times a day. When trying to call the listed number for the company they just hang up after being on hold for 2 to 3 minutes. One can NEVER reach a live person to help (they dont help anyways...but). I
