****, Scott's Plumbing caused extensive damage when he intentionally twisted the copper pipe beyond use while removing a faucet on 7-27-22. There were multiple issues with Scott's. I contacted them by email and ph regard to excessive hrs billed 6.5, parts and damages. They ignored me. I rec'd the 1st invoice by mail 4-15-23 $740 + fin chgs, invoice dated 10-28-22 i3884. I am forwarding a ck for $305.00, 2.5 hrs labor/parts $55 svc call. Generous considering the damages they caused. **** was to repair leaking faucets in the tub/shower. I had correct Delta parts. He told me he could use the parts but I needed to replace faucets with a diverter stating that's why they leaked. It was not my intent to replace the faucets. I agreed but he and I discussed repeatedly he do no damage requiring add'l money. I told him to leave it if he ran into problems. He agreed. **** caused damage to the copper pipe and knew it. He reported the copper pipe “snapped” during removal of the faucet which is inaccurate see photos. **** twisted the copper pipe beyond use. In attempting to twist off the faucet he also put a divot on the side of the fiberglass tub. The copper pipe and faucet had to be replaced thru an access "cut in the adjoining wall" of my family room by another plumbing co for $976.46. The follow up plumber asked to take the parts with him he had not seen such needless damage. **** called an employee ****** to help saying I would not be charged. ****** replaced the kitchen faucet I had purchased. He flooded my entire kitchen soaked a 5x7 rug, a carpet runner to the front door. Both soured and had to be cleaned along with the flooring in the area. He soaked/ruined boxed groceries sitting in the floor. After leaving water was left standing beneath the stove, a cabinet and in the floor air vent. It took a fan 2 days to dry the cabinet beneath the sink. He ruined and tossed 2 rebates worth $35, the warranty and receipt to the new kitchen faucet.

The "faucet" is a tub spout with concealed piping that it was threaded on.  The removal process is to twist the spout to unthread it.  With the piping being concealed, it was unknown at the time that the copper was twisting inside the wall until it broke off.  **** offered to cut open the wall (just as the company she hired did) to repair, but was not given permission.  Scott's Plumbing was not given the opportunity to make repairs.  I am personally unaware of the kitchen water damage until now.  This isn't the first time the customer has claimed excessive damage.  A time before, the customer claimed a bathroom cabinet was damaged, which we offered to replace and was put off by the customer several times and was never resolved due to customer discontinuing communication on the matter.  I have attached a screenshot of the last text from the customer regarding that matter.  Scott's Plumbing will be returning the check that was sent by the customer and writing off the invoice that was sent to the customer.
