  I purchased this from Walmart for $69.28 after tax on Sunday May 29th 2023 to use on Monday (Memorial Day) and after the coals started to turn white hot all the paint on the grill (not powder coated paint) started bubbling, melting, and peeling and shortly after the grill went up in flames ruining my family holiday dinner. This grill has multiple complaints on Facebook about this happening to others. The handle on this grill also broke in my head cutting my thumb a little (not severely) but still hurt me nonetheless. This grill has a very obvious flaw/defect as others besides me have described.

  We are in receipt of the notification from BBB and a complaint from Mr. ****** regarding his Walk-A-Bout grill.  We understand Mr. ****** returned the grill to the retailer for a refund, and our customer service team reached out to him today to gain more information about the difficulties he had with the product over the weekend.  We are aware of the timeline for the BBB report and will keep you posted.

  I am rejecting this response because: I find that this resolution is sub par at best since these grills clearly have defective paint that isn't a high temp powder coat type of paint. I'm mad my memorial day dinner was ruined and based on other Facebook reviews and other reviews online I'm not the only one who has had issues with the grill catching fire. I did get refunded by Walmart I'll make that clear, but I didn't get what I paid for and my grill was missing a vent cover on the back of the grill and this caused me physical damage (coughing still from the breathed in smoke) mental distress (depressed my holiday ended badly and felt like a failure to wife and son), and emotional damage (scared me, and still angry from the grill catching fire as of today and for ruining my dinner, embarrassing me in front of my family and neighbor's). Also wasted money on charcoal and lighter fluid including gas in my vehicle from buying the grill from Walmart and having to return the grill to Walmart and also the cost of food. I followed all the directions for the grill in the instructions booklet. With that said there were kids around and other people including my wife, my three and a half year old boy Charlie who is level 2 ASD (Autism) and myself.  People could have gotten hurt, and a fire could have started somewhere from this grill in the community I live in from the wind causing me legal issues or to face a possible eviction or lawsuit from an unnecessary fire caused by a defective fault grill with improper paint.
