      The company provided plumbing services at my house on 11/1/2021 to replace a stopper on a tub that was not holding water, a defective sing stopper that leaked. I had sent a photo of the stopper, but the plumber came with the wrong one, which led to them having to visit a hardware store for 45-60 minutes, for which I was charged. Additionally, my problem still persists. They charged me $415 for partially fixing my plumbing issues. I contacted the company repeatedly for a resolution and they offered me $50 back and I asked for $100, but then I haven't received the check or heard from them. I later learned that my tub still holds no water. I wish a refund of at least $250 for the time spent, including future time I will have to take off work for a rework.

      Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2021/11/29) */ I had spoken with Mr. ***** several times. When we went out to repair the drain, it was a different type of drain size that you can't tell by a photo. We try to carry as many parts as we can, but you can't carry every part. We attepted to repair the drain, which he said it didn't hold. We tried to schedule another time, in which he was fine with, then he called and said he would wait and let us know which we never heard back. We tried to work out a solution, which he was asking for more. We have been so busy that I overlooked sending him the check, which is my fault. Now he is asking for more money back. we could have resolved this with one phone call. We would never intentionally not repair something and charge someone for it. I would be glad to work this out for $100 refund and no additional charge for repairing it. We have a five star rating, and i would not want someone unhappy because we try to help people with their problems.

      Called them for leaky faucet, Billed me for $255 for changing a rubber ring and aerator. When called I was told they charged for 2 people. Two to change a ring and aerator? I Was told there were two people already on the truck so I was charged for two .They did not have the ring despite me telling them the problem and requested them to bring bunch of rings then both workers left for little more than an hour to bring the ring , Way over priced Date of service 8/23/2021

      Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2021/09/23) */ We at A& K plumbing would not intentionally over charge a customer. We take pride in having and holding an A+ rating. We can't carry every part for every faucet. The o'ring and aerator he needed for his faucet were odd sized. We had to go and pick up those parts to get him fixed. The gas and time to get those parts is included in the price. As far as the two men on a truck, we squeezed him in on our schedule which is typically a week or two out. When we have a truck available, we send them to that job. We can't bring a man back to the shop and drop him off, then return to the job. We try very hard to save the customers time and money, this was a situation that we were trying to take care of him quickly. I can only apologize for this job not working out faster. But we never know what we need till we see the job. Ty!
