I went to the doctor on 08/23 at ********** ******* ***** ****** Clinic. They told me they took my insurance and I paid the $25.00 at day of service. About a week later I get a bill saying I owe an additional 207.00. I look into on their portal and it says out of network, I call my insurance to ask why because****** ****** the doctor write under a doctor that is on the covered list. My insurance said they would call and to allow up to 5 business days. They call me that Thursday and say that the hold time is saying it's over 24 hours and they can't wait on hold that long. They said I would have to call. I have been trying to call now for over a week. The main office has to transfer me and they did tell me there phone are having an issue and saying the hold times are over 23 hours. Last Friday I was supposed to get a call back from their billing, didn't happen, I call Monday the 19th and the girl on the phone tells me it was coded wrong, she would send it to billing and someone would call me by the end of the day. Never happened again. I call today 09/20 I am on hold for 2 hours and 35 minutes..... the phone disconnects, I call back put me on hold again I wait about 42 minutes, phone disconnects again. I call again they tell me they can't advise me what I am supposed to do other then to just go down there and talk to someone at this point. I am worried now it's been so long they are going to send it to collections, or I will have late fees. If I can't talk to anyone about my bill that insurance should of paid if it was billed correctly then I don't know what else to do. I used to be able to get on there portal to see my bill and pay it and now it won't even show either, it comes up and says Your online bill is no longer available. I have attached the original bill, the notice where I cant see it anymore and my call logs. The ************ was me to my insurance company, the ************ is them getting back with me. Consumer Response /* (2010, 5, 2022/09/27) */ They called me yesterday 09/22 to let me know just not to worry about the bill, they said it can take up to 6 months for them to fix the issue on their end. I told them as long as I don't get sent to collections then I am fine with that resolution. I don't think they run things like they should but for right now I at least have an answer, so I don't know if you guys want to cancel this request.
