Professional Account Services has been contacting me repeatedly. I have requested that they send verification of the account to my current address and to no longer contact me via phone until they have done so. Today, 12/21/23, I have received another phone call (from a number using my local area code) and the lady I was making the request to interrupted me to say she will call back another time, then hung up.Professional Account Services, Inc. PASI first tried reaching the consumer on 12-21-23, and the person on the phone wouldn't identify herself as for security not only for the consumer but to follow laws so the call was ended. A few minutes later PASI received an inbound call and once again the person failed to identify herself. We must deduce from this review that it was the consumer on the phone both times. Our initial letter is on the way, and we hope this will help verify why we called. If the consumer would like to call our Customer Service and properly identify herself, we may also provide her with the reason for our call and assist in any way possible. So this is obviously a blatant lie, since you are not able to identfy who left this comment. PAS has been contacting me for much longer than since 12/21/23. I have asked each time for PAS to send me a verification of account to the address on file. There is no need for me to identify myself for PAS to do this. For months, PAS has neglected to send the letter, but continued to contact me, which is illegal. PAS is playing a dangerous game in harassing consumers.Review from Kathy T

I had follow up mammogram on May 25. Set up payments with ******* that day on amount my insurance didn’t cover. Automated payments of $30 set up starting June 9 and it’s now September 21 and I have made 4 consecutive documented payments totaling $120 to *******. ******* turned my account over to this collection agency Called this place to try to have intelligent conversation that this was a mistake on ******** part. Lady started screaming at me and wouldn’t even let me speak. I have done the right thing and I am being harassed by this company, that won’t even let me explain. There was no screaming on the account by the PASI collector. In fact, the customer called the collector a curse word as she was trying to explain why the account was with PASI. We have placed the account on a cease communication as the customer doesn't want to hear from us again. If the customer would like an explanation of why the facility turned the account over to PASI, we will be more than happy to explain, and she can call our Customer Service Department at 866-450-0044.Review from William D

Trying to collect from me an obvious false or medical coded wrong payment when I have contacted my insurance company and they said it went to appeals and that services were covered. The bill was turned over by ***** ******* Hospital in Foley, AL since I never paid for these false services. The only thing I should have been billed was the copay to the doctor as that was done my OFFICE visits were just that, not in a hospital setting. Also tried to call PASI and number on the letter Connor reach their office. They did no investigation into my dispute letter.Professional Account Services, Inc. Response

Dispute was investigated and answered. Per ***** *******, the remaining balance is patient responsibility/copay and was explained to this patient per the hospital notes of 5-17-23. I call the 888 number listed on the mail I received and it hangs up on me at 3 min 28 sec. It does not allow me to leave a message. I contacted their customer service number listed on several complaints below and left a message. I also sent an email with my contact information. I am awaiting contact back from them. The hospital I was treated at has the correct billing information, so I should no longer receive these letters. Please fix your message services attached to the 888 number listed on your mail. I am not impressed with your lack of professional phone services for someone who has been in business for 30+ years. 31 May Called back, representative tried looking up my number and couldn't find a record with it. I attempted to explain my complaint was about the phone number not staying connected to leave a message. He said he wasn't going to help me and hung up. I did get my account with you sorted, but it shouldn't have taken weeks off trying to call to do that (granted I didn't call every day those weeks, but I did call multiple times). I handled the account first through the hospital billing department and then 30 May I finally reached your company. All I ask is you please fix your number's messaging service. The rep I talked to on 30 May said I wasn't the first to mention that.Review from Karen L

Seems this company is not communicating well how to even pay a bill. I wants to pay one and could not sign into the system. I was putting in the account number at the bottom of the bill just as the website said to do, but every time I entered my birthdate it did not recognize the account. My medical bill should of been paid by my insurance. The hospital messed up billing. Sent to PASI. They held a lein to my injury lawyers pay out to me. Once it's been shown that it's been paid by my insurance, we haven't heard from them to release the lein. Every number you call says that they are extremely busy. EVERY NUMBER!!!!! This is horrible to try to speak to someone. They are not prompt with reading emails that they need to reply to in a timely manner. But they sure are quick to get you on a payment or Ding your credit. Ugh. Fix my credit and email my lawyer back please. Unbelievable.Professional Account Services, Inc. Response

My account was handed over to PASI after the hospital I went to, went bankrupt and out of business. Every person I have talked to has been cordial. I paid my last payment on 08/26/2022, of which I was sent the receipt. I have been trying to get a zero balance statement since then. Every one that I have talked to since then (3 times) tells me it has to be approved by a supervisor. My last call to PASI I was told that it had been sent to my e-mail on 09/07/2022. It has been a week! How long does it take for an e-mail to get from Brentwood, TN to SW Florida?Professional Account Services, Inc. Response

Another was requested on Thursday morning the 15th as well as this morning, and the email we have matches what is on this comment so it should be sent with no issue. It appears that I have an account with this collection company but having a hard time validating if they are a true agency or not. When I try to call the number that is listed on their website (615) ***-8500 it's a none working number. Then when I try to call the other number that is provided 1-800-***-5152 some guy (unprofessional) picks up and doesn't seem to be associated with this company. I have been trying to contact this agency to discuss a bill that I never received, but was recently added to my credit report. How can you talk to someone if the number listed isn't correct.
