"Nelson Custom Builders, Ben N*****; and we entered into a contract which included 9 pages of CAD drawings and written specifications, verbal review and promises made prior to signing-with promise to provide us everything that we wanted per our specifications which he verbally provided to us as he translated his contract to us since it was poorly written.Soon after signing we witnessed and addressed many significant issues: wrongful measured and cut materials resulting in rework; the use of bad lumber, bad joining, poorly built and joining rafters, damage to our newly poured cement with them withholding the information from us, wrongly pitched rooflines, damage to our neighbor's property that was not repaired professionally, poor work ethic and wasted time, none of 7 rooms are finished or usable (some not framed, others not sheetrocked or floored, with no usable electrical or plumbing to any of the new areas, several major job needs (demolishing bath, movement of a major wall, the installing of the elevator, the excavation of the driveway and replacement of a wider and better driveway, a slanted ramp (that began sloping only a month after construction), increased humidity causing mold in the existing structure-causing sickness, no screening of the screened deck, with basically only 1/3 of the work done although we have paid the builder 81% of the trajected project budget which was quoted as, $465,019." ...
