I bought a vehicle, a 2012 ******* veloster. From them in September of last year. The transmission failed 2 days after the purchase. It is now the end of march in 2023 and it is just now becoming a functioning vehicle. I dont feel I need to pay the down payment on a vehicle that took six months to become fully operational.Business response

We apologize for any inconvenience to the customer !! We do our very best to purchase good used vehicles sometimes things happen out of our control. The customer purchased an off site warranty on this vehicle it is a 2012 ******* with a135k + on miles with an automatic transmission that the clutch system failed on ! But the car still run and drove !! And was operational and was fine until we could schedule the work . We were 2 months out on taking new work in at the time of this incident!! we made the customer an appointment and keep up our due diligence!! the customer could have taken this vehicle to any repair facility but did not !! we had to remove and disassemble the transmission and wait on the warranty comp and inspection as soon as we got that taken care of and filed a claim we was moving forward slowly not due to us but things out of our control! The customer also has changed phone # serval times making it very hard to communicate we have even reached out via SM !! We did complete the job with new transmission at zero cost to the customer and an 18 month warranty!! He also had the opportunity for a rental car but did not follow threw!! as a far as the down payment its now 6months late I did not charge any interest and knocked off $500.00 due to the inconvenience!!
