Our roof has recently been replaced by Guardian Roofing. Prior to agreeing, we specially explained we had spent $5,000 a year ago waterproofing and flashing the fireplace exterior. We were assured by the salesman, ******, that there would be no leaks or disturbance. The first rain after the new roof was installed we had rain running down the foyer in our house. Their reply was that we could only expect leaks during hard rains. That is not acceptable and we want this taken care of properly. We just had the interior halls and foyer, as well as, the living room, kitchen, and dining room painted. Now we have water streaks we’re the leak has run down the walls.Customer response

We did hear from the company and they came out and climbed on the roof and asked to look in our attic, but we don't have an attic above that space, our ceiling is the roofline. They replied that it should only leak when we have a hard rain, and that is unacceptable.
My original complaint I explained how this was discussed with the salesman prior to purchasing the new roof. We had paid over $5000 a year ago to have our chimney and windows waterproofed. *****, the salesman assured us that it would be undisturbed and no chance of a leak. The day they came out they spoke to my wife and said they couldn't find anything. I feel if they can't go there and waterproof it then they need to pay for the original company to come back out and do the job over again.

I believe there was a misunderstanding by our comment that was addressed by the wind driven rain. Our goal here at Guardian Roofing is to assure our installations keep all properties safe and sealed. We constructed some minor repairs, and after just recently speaking with Mr. ***** it seems the small leak is no longer occurring.
