I purchased my car from them almost three years ago. After hearing people complaining about their services, I don't want my bad experience to go silent. Once I purchased my car and drove off and removed the face mask, I immediately smelled really bad odor, moldy smell. When I returned home I thoroughly inspected the seats of the car and noticed fainted liquid stains on the passenger seat as well as the seat in the back. I called the selling agent immediately. Amazing how nice he was compared to the attitude I received when I called to report the issue. He made an appointment for me to come in. I showed them the stains, but they totally dismissed the idea of the water being the cause of the problem and totally shut me off regarding any comments. After a few days I received the car back and the odor was no different. Rattling sound was noticeable coming from the sunroof I haven't noticed before. They told me to leave the windows open as much as possible and give it a week. A week later and the odor was still the same. In the mean time as I was going over some documents, I noticed it said only the front breaks were changed when the agent told me all brakes have been changed. I addressed that with the agent when I called back and complained about the odor and the rattling sound. They made me an appointment and a week later I had my car back. I asked them what caused the rattling sound, they told me the water was getting stuck somewhere. I asked for better explanation which I never received. When I got home I noticed the hood of my car was open. I was so upset that I called them and canceled the oil change services that I bought in advance. Let me say I never used their oil change service, and when I requested to cancel they said they can't issue full refund because the charges are made through a third party so they prorated and issued the difference.Review from Mindy T

I got a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder from here 2 years ago, in the first year of having it, I put 16,000 miles on the SUV, it was smoking and they told me I needed a new engine. I showed my oil changes, then apparently 4 oil changes in 16,000 miles wasn’t enough, I was told that i didn’t have enough maintenance and the warranty wouldn’t cover it so I took it t home. Now, a year later, it has 56,000 miles on it and I owe $30k on it. It’s sitting in my yard completely broke down. I’ll never buy another NissanReview from Hannah H

I would rate 0 stars if I could. My husband and I have made repeated attempts over the last several years to get Nissan to stop soliciting us, and they have blatantly ignored our requests. You can be completely sure that we will never do business with them ever again, and let others know not to do business with them either since they refuse to comply with repeated requests to be left alone. At this point, it is considered severe harassment and if this continues we will pursue a lawsuit for such. We have the documentation for each repeated request to be taken off their mailing list and we continue to receive solicitations no matter what we do. We can get better customer service from ANY other dealerships. It's absurd to solicit people to sell them your car when you a) didn't even buy it from them, b) aren't even remotely interested in or even indicated such, and c) have repeatedly asked to NOT be solicited to and it's being ignored. Unless this dealership gets its act together with better management and customer service, I want no part of Mountain View Nissan.Review from Steve R.

11 years of business with mtn view Nissan. 6 vehicles, 4 brand new. 2 used. The latest one, a used 2017 Maxima. I paid 31k for it in July 2022. At such a price, you'd expect it to be in good condition. It developed a rattle in the front end that keeps getting worse and now sounds like it's going to fall off. Thinking I could trade it and my 2017 Nissan Titan XD for a new Maxima, I contacted a dealer in Nashville. They have a new, black Maxima Platinum edition. They inform me this one has been through 2 airbag deployments and is only worth about 8k. I come back to mtn view, because my salesman wants to make it right. The deal they brought to me was to essentially give them my truck and car and buy theirs. They offered me 11k for the car I JUST bought from them for 31k.Review from Brandon B

Received a mailer stating they were paying up to $7,000 over book value. We filled out an appraisal online Wednesday as we had a change in work status since we had purchased one of our cars (work from home almost exclusively). Representative from dealer reached out, we informed them we did not want to trade and asked if the offer would be valid for a pure sell of the vehicle. We were told the offer had no restrictions limiting it to trade in and they would love to setup time to come in. They really needed quality inventory, etc. Friday a DIFFERENT representative called. We again reiterated we did not want to trade and would be looking to sell. The representative said the offer online is always low and assured us we would get even more in person. They then informed us we should get around $32,000 for the vehicle. I arranged coverage for a meeting with my work and we agree to come in at 5PM to meet John. When we arrive John was in the middle of a sale. The young man they put us with was friendly and evaluated the car. The car was in the condition we represented online, and over the phone, and they offered us $25,000. Visibly upset, the manager comes over for the next communication and increases the offer to $27,000. The story unfortunately was just another predatory practice from a car dealer. The manager informs us the representative misspoke and they would be reprimanded. They were quick to point out the appraisal says TRADE IN on pure (which it does), but TWO DIFFERENT representatives confirmed and the 2nd actually "increased" the offer on a sale to get us on the premises. Fortunately for us, we were not in a situation where we NEEDED to get rid of the car, it was simply a move that made financial sense at the time as it is rare when a vehicle has little to no depreciation in 2 years time and we were looking to simply make a smart financial decision. They did offer to pay for our gas, but that was declined. Just a total waste of 2 hours on a Friday for another large dealer to be completely and totally disingenuous. If you are in the market for a car, please do ample research. Get the offer via email and not verbally. Remember Nashville and Atlanta are just a short drive away. I will definitely never do business with Mtn View Nissan in any capacity.Mountain View Nissan, Inc. Response

Brandon,
Thank you for the review. Unfortunately, we can not tell the condition of your vehicle over the phone. We try our best to represent a fair estimate over the phone and this time our estimate was to high. As a courtesy to the customer we always offer to pay for a tank of gas if we miss an appraisal value over the phone or internet. We do this to show compassion and honesty to our customers. Vehicle values are at an all time high right now and hope you are able to sell your vehicle to someone. We are sorry for the confusion.

I fully appreciate and understand that an appraisal needs to be completed in person, however, the purpose of the feedback isn't that the appraisal wasn't met. It was stating that TWO DIFFERENT representatives on TWO DIFFERENT days assured us that the PureCars appraisal was good for the sale of the vehicle or trade in (the 2nd of which actually said the estimate was low and would always receive a better offer in person), yet the manager on duty stated that they were mistaken and would be reprimanded.
The manager was QUICK to point out the the screenshot clearly said trade in, and assured me that if I was trading in a car, that the appraisal would be met and/or exceeded. At no point was anything documented that showed that we mis-represented the condition of the car. In fact, we sold the car to another dealer on Monday without any issue.
