      I took my car to have a engine put in it it took him nine months to put a engine in it he charged me to replace the oxygen sensor and when I finally got it back it run two hours and then lost all power I took it too autozone and the tested it and I have a printout that the oxygen sensor is bad so I called him and he said there's no way the oxygen sensor is bad I told him I have a printout then he said it wasn't his problem and there's nothing he could do he charged me 2800 dollars and it ran for two hours and broke down

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/04/04) */ 1st off they picked the car up the first of March and have been driving it ever since and have put over a 1000 miles on it. 2nd the oxygen sensor light was on when it first came in and it had a lot of electrical issues that we fixed and didn't charge them for. The oxygen sensor has a lifetime warranty but it is not their problem its the catalytic converter. They said it lost power and that would be caused by the exhaust stopping up. I told them when they called and her husband said he would get it checked out. The next contact was from the BBB. I called and left a message but haven't gotten any response. The engine also has a warranty on it. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/04/04) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I drove the car for a day and the check engine light came on I only drove it two days it starting losing power it has about 280 miles on it not the 1000 miles he's trying to say he had the battery dead when we picked up so there wouldn't be any lights we called him twice he didn't offer to do anything he had it for 7 months the mechanic burnt the fusebox out and had had too sendit too two different people too fix it now there's a leak on the wayerpump and I have a plastic hose I found beside the battery that was broke off of something the mileage is on the car its very easy too prove I only drove it two days so right there he's trying to lie about that and he's trying to lie about how long he had it I have the receipt for the 500 deposit and the last receipt that proves how long he had it and all he said was bring it too me and it want make it Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/04/06) */ SHE CALLED ME WHEN SHE GOT MY RESPONSE TO HER CLAIMS. SHE WAS BELLIGERENT, CUSSING ME AND YELLING. I ASKED HER NOT TO CUS AND YELL AND SHE SAID SHE WASN'T. I TOLD HER WHAT HER HUSBAND HAD TOLD ME BUT SHE KEPT SAYING THAT IT WAS HER CAR NOT HIS. I TRIED TO EXPLAIN TO HER ABOUT THE OXYGEN SENSOR BUT SHE WOULD NOT LISTEN. I ASK HER IF THEY WERE ANY OTHER CODES AND SHE WOULD NOT ANSWER. I THEN TOLD HER THAT THE PARTS HAD A WARRANTY BUT THAT PROBABLY WOULD NOT FIX IT. I ALSO TRIED TO HAVE HER BRING IT IN AND THATS WHEN SHE HUNG UP ON ME. I CALLED HER BACK TO SEE WHEN I COULD SEND A ROLLBACK TO GET IT AND SHE TOLD ME SHE DIDN'T WANT TO TALK TO ME ANYMORE AND HUNG UP AGAIN. I THINK A LOT OF THE PROBLEM IS THAT I TALKED WITH HER HUSBAND AND NOT HER. I AM WILLING TO PAY TO PICK HER CAR UP AND CHECK IT OUT TO SEE WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. BUT UNTIL I DO THAT THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO, Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2022/04/06) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) He did not offer to get he he is not going to work on it he couldn't get it running to begin with his mechanic burnt the fusebox box out inches first place that's why he sent it too two other mechanics just too get it running and that's probably what messed everything else up he sent it to fairway Ford and they wouldn't touch it because he couldn't get it running to begin with he sent it too another mechanic to just get it running he charged us 40 dollars for him having it told I told him when he couldn't get it running to just let us pay for the engine and come and get it and when he got it running finally he held our car which is illegal in TN he has done nothing but lie since he got it he first told me that his mechanic messed the fuse box then he said it was the dash then he tried to tell us something else my sons bus driver used to employ his mechanic and they still talk and he told Charlie that it wasn't running right when we come and got it and he will testify that he told him that so he knew it wasn't right when we went and got it that's why the battery was dead and he had too boost it off Because he knew it wasn't right and with it being dead the check engine light would stay off he had the car seven months just too get it the motor he put in it just too start then he kept our car for another month and a half because we didn't have all the money which is illegal we didnt have a car for 8 moths we had to pay people for a ride for eight months he didn't have a loaner car because he said he couldn't afford the insurance so no I don't want him too touch it again with the 2700 hundred it cost us around 2000 for her too get back and forth too work and too get her disabled autistic 20 years old non verbal too were he needs too go he didnt say nothing about coming to get it that is another lie so I wouldn't be surprised if has a business license or insurance so in fact he paid someone else too get it running
