Date of transaction Sept 15, 2023. I had previously taken the vehicle to Pop's garage due to oil leak. Pop's garage change the oil sensor which they said was cause the leak. I schedule tune up in two weeks in which I was informed by the owner *** that the oil sensor was defected part and needed to replace. The car continue to leak oil. I took the car back t Pop's garage on Sept 15, 2023 to replace the "defect" oil sensor. After about half hour, one of mechanic informed me that it was not the oil sensor but crack head of the engine. During the conversation with the mechanic, he was placing sealant in the engine to slow down the oil leak The strange part of the conversation he mechanic asked if I was upset.The only way to fix the car per *** , the owner was to replace the engine. I asking about replacing the engine vs buying a new car. ***, the owner, recommended buying another car. I picked the car up on Saturday Sept 16, 2023 , run errands and noted the oil light was on. I checked the oil and I had to replace the oil with 3 quarts of oil. Barely made back to my house when the engine was acting up and oil light was on. I had the car towed to another mechanic due I felt that the car should not have cracked head. The other mechanic stated either in replacing the oil sensor , the oil sensor was put in wrong first and/or tighten too much which lead to crack engine The other mechanic stated that ****'s garage can caused the crack on my engine
