    This company is run by husband and wife ****** and ***********************. On Feb 9, 2023 I unwillingly was forced to pay $264.87 to AutoHaus for a seatbelt diagnosis.Upon arrival I told ***** that I needed a SEAT BELT SENSOR checked because 30 seconds after the car was started it would chyme. Simple.I was asked to sign a blank invoice which I asked "why am I signing a blank paper?" ***** told me "We can't look at your car until you sign it." ************************* gave me very disturbing news about my car... He told me I needed to leave the car at his shop, as the engine had to be replaced. He said it would never make it to where I was going. He said the header was bad, which meant the engine could blow at any time and would void my warranty. He also said there was gas and oil in the coolant which was also serious, he said he knows this because he has been doing this work for over 60 years. I told him I wanted to think about it and I wasn't leaving the car. He kept at me, warning me and scaring me while raising his voice about driving the car.Suddenly he told ***** to charge me for a diagnosis and he left. ***** presented me with a $264.87 bill.I told her the bill was outrageous and that I didn't want to pay it. She told me the charge was for test driving my car.They also charged shop supplies of ***** and an environmental charge of **** to check a SEAT BELT SENSOR!After leaving Auto Haus I took the car to ****************** (****** ************)I explained that I was told the engine needed to be replaced and there was oil and gas in the coolant. *** (shop *******) said there was no oil or gas in the coolant and that I did NOT need to replace the engine.I then took the car locally to The Car Store Auto Repairs and they too confirmed I did not need my engine replaced and there were NOT any contaiminants in the coolant.

    Had to have my vehicle towed there because Thursday 3/2/23 the steering wheel column was locked. They first told me that it would be 10 days before it can be looked at. I was called at 9 am 3/7/23, 3 separate times. At the end of the first call I asked if they can take a look at an oil leak that I had began noticing. The second call began with the woman saying that they cannot tell me what the oil leak is until I give them $900 to fix the steering wheel and its locking issue. I responded with, " hang on I need to speak to my wife before committing to spend that kind of money." 5 minutes later I received a call from the technician stating that there was someone at the shop interested in buying the vehicle from me for $600. After this I decided that this was not the place I cared to deal with trying to fix my vehicle. I received a bill for $177.00 for DIAGNOSIS. NOTHING WAS REPAIRED OR REPLACED. This was what it cost me so they could not rip me off anymore. I reluctantly paid it, and had a towing company remove it from the premises and brought to another location. Nowhere on the walls in the office is there any pricing per hour, cost for diagnosis, nothing. Because I had it towed I was unaware of this, it was not until I went there did I learn any of this information. Upon bringing this to their attention all the tech could do was YELL AT ME because i had 2 bad tires on the front. Never addressed the issue by the way. It will not surprise me if this place isn't closed within a year or so, but wanted to hopefully prevent anything like this from happening to anyone else. I felt like they were going to RELEIVE me of my vehicle so their young technician could get a good vehicle with minor repairs that could be done over time, which did not have to be done ALL AT ONCE. Which they seemed needed to occur. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else. I would have brought it to a ***** dealer if I wanted to spend that kind of money!
