I was hit in a parking lot on 6/19/2022 and was advised by the dealership I purchased my car they used Evans for their work. I went to Evans to get an estimate on 6/20/2022 at which time I was assured my car would be fixed back to its original shape. I patiently waited for my appointment on October 3, dropped off my car and returned to pick up my car the following week. At which time, I looked at the bumper and it was pinched together between the quarter panel and the bumper. They took it back into the shop where, after tearing it back apart, trying to shave away some plastic, they realized there was a bracket bent that they missed when the original fix was done. So I took it home to wait for a new bracket to come; it came in and they were going to just put it on and touch up the paint and send me out the door. I told them that wasn't acceptable and they did call me back and said they were going to repaint the side of the bumper that was damaged. Upon return to the shop, my bumper looked exactly like it did before they replaced the bracket. The owner came to talk to me and basically wrote me off....this is the best we can do and I'm sorry you are not happy. No I brought you a $50,000 car to fix properly and it's not right. I took it to the dealership where I purchased my car and the sales manager agreed with me that the job is not done correctly. I, glad they warranty their work for a lifetime because I will be returning to get the bumper put back on every time the clip lets go. It's already on its way. It's sad to see a company profess to be a Christian based company but do things that are acceptable in the world and not to truly by God's standards.
