I hired Onslow to install granite. I picked out white ice. They installed something totally different. I allowed them too because we live in California and we could not move the install date. This home is booked solid as an Airbnb when we are not using it. I explained this all to Onslow from the very begining. After the install I noticed a huge gash in the island. Onslow said they would have someone contact me for the repairs. It took two weeks for someone to contact me. As this point I'm back in CA. and had to decline their choice of the repair date. The granite was installed 10/24/2022. Last week my property manager noticed a huge green stain on the granite. The granite still has a huge gash in it. Next I received a picture of a green flowering stain on the granite by the from my property manager. My manager explained they can not remove it. After researching the appearing flowering green stain I learned it called Green Bloom and is caused by the chemical reaction to the glue used during granite installation. I emailed Onslow to request they fix it and a date they would be there to fix both problems on 11/27/2022. They have never got back to me. Throughout the sales process I asked to speak to my sales person numerous times and Onslow kept giving me excuses of why I could not speak to her. As of today, I have paid $5500.00 to Onslow, there is gash on the island granite, Green Bloom on the sink, not to mention they product is not what I purchased. These people do not answer the phones. I've called over 10 times to different departments and nothing. There is no contact info for a manager or the owner on any visible public website. In order for me to fix this I need to fly back to North Carolina. That would be 3 trips because of their mistakes. Which I might add they have taken no responsibility for. I want my money back! So I may have the kitchen redone by a different company!
