date of Transaction: 08.05.22 Date of Install: 10.2022 Total Paid: 8855.60 Product: Granite for New Home Problem: Granite was not sealed by Granite Top Design and therefore the product stained Contact with Vendor: Moved in the home around early December - Noticed stains on my countertop a couple of weeks in and that's when I discovered the granite had not been sealed. Contacted vendor and spoke with Angela- she stated she would get back with me after the first of the year. She did not and so I called again, she promised to come look at the granite and told me to use baking soda and peroxide to try and remove the stains. I felt this was not my responsibility as they should have sealed the granite, but I tried to get them out. When I was able to get in touch with her again, I let her know they were not coming out and she called the Company where they purchased the granite to see if they knew what to do. They responded via email that they had some spray stuff I could try. Again, I went and picked up the spray and did it myself. I got all the stains out but one and I let Angela know that. Asked her when they would replace the one piece of granite where the stain could not be removed. She said she didn't have any of that granite and asked my if I did. I responded that I did not have any and I have yet to hear back from her. Monday February 13th, I again sent her an email and asked when they would be replacing the granite and not response. I do have an email from the Slab Vendor where they asked them if they sealed the granite and the vendor replied that they had told them up front they would not be sealing the granite and that Granite Top would need to do that. I want to also add that I had to personally seal the granite or which I removed the stains, not once did they offer to come seal what was not stained. This is unacceptable.
