      My name is Casey Thompson I just started with ambetter health insurance a individual plan with duct about of $550 now I’m waiting to receive my card in the mail they said after my deductible of $550 is paid then all my doctors appointments and meds will be at no charge and my dentist I added they said after I pay the deductible off then a deep teeth whitening is considered cosmetic and they will pay 50 percent of the price and the other I pay only after deductible is payed I’m 38 and my Medicaid I have they taking it from me after the new year cause I make to much money so I needed another insurance I’m asking y’all did I make a good suggestion my email is

      I use this insurance company and I also receive rewards for doing things and I redeemed 500 points for $50 dollars and they act like they can't see it be I contact the rewards center they could see that I redeemed it but they can't do anything because member service issue the debit card and they told me to contact a supervisor because the information it was sent to them ya need to contact me and stop giving me the run around not fair

      This is a sketchy insurance that is defrauding the US government by charging them way too much money for the benefits they offer the insured. There is also virtually no participating providers in SC and the ones who do are 2 hours away from insurer's location. When you need questions answered and call the Ambetter member line, there are no knowledgeable English speaking representatives to talk to

      I keep getting bills from them and never had insurance from them don't have a card that says I have coverage every bill I get is 1256,49 dollars more I get a runaround on the phone

      This is the worst insurance company, that I have ever dealt with. I have been waiting for my refund for almost 2 months now. Ever though it was their mistake, they did not do what they were supposed to do. The refund was finally put in on 3/2/23, but I have still not received it. And trying to get a rewards card, is just as bad. And forget trying to speak with a customer service rep. You can not understand what they are saying. And they don't know what they are doing. I was with Ambetter in 2019 and had a refund, that they never sent to me. As stated above, I'm waiting on the refund now. Even though, the insurance is cheap. I will neve ever use them again. I would not recommend Ambetter to anyone. If I could leave a 0 for the rating, I would. They don't even deserve a number 1 rating.

      DO NOT USE !! Horrible!! I have been trying to get claims paid, since May 2022, after being told in network, and can't get a straight answer from anyone. I have called multiple times, received multiple answers which none have been the same and I am currently "left on hold" while they are getting a supervisor. In reality, I have been silenced since they haven't disconnected the call. I'm sure they are hoping I get frustrated and hang up, but instead here I am! They refuse to transfer me; I asked a simply yes or no question and this is what I got. Not customer service friendly for sure. And, since you no longer carry their insurance, you can't get into your online account for past claim information.

      Your business is an absolute mess with NO absolute care. I want to file multiple complaints for what you’ve done to me. I’d also like a phone number for your CEO, customer services director & marketing team. Your people are not trained & you have literally put my life at risk.       I signed up for insurance through Healthcare.gov with this company, I made my first payment, they canceled my policy for no reason and kept my $122. They put me on a three way call with Healthcare.gov without my knowledge and started asking me questions. They claimed that I canceled my policy, but I did not. Buyer beware!
