    While utilizing this trash disposal company there have been frequent changes to the schedule, lack of service during minor holidays and neglect to pick up on scheduled days. When speaking to the company representative I was accused of lying about the cans being available and placed in a proper location. No attempt was made to rectify the situation.

    11/28/23 Contact with the customer via phone regarding a reported missed pickup the previous week. Our staff reviewed our route documentation and had a written record from the route crew that the customers trash cart was not out that morning when our truck came through. We also verbally checked with the driver.
     We relayed this information to the customer, who disputed the accuracy of our records. Our staff member informed the customer that her trash would be picked up the next day 11/29/23
    The customer emailed on 11/28/23 at ****** with a list of complaints which mostly mirror those submitted to the BBB and a request to cancel service. We responded on 11/28/23 at 5:07pm to confirm that we would close her account, pick up her trash by 11/29 as promised, and issue a refund of $35.70 for the full month of November for any inconvenience to her.
    Complaints to address:
    Changes to pickup schedule: 
    Customers pickup day was moved from Thursday to Wednesday effective the week of November *****. Due to staffing challenges in May 2023, there had been a temporary shift in the pickup day. This most recent change was intended to move the route back to its original day which was Wednesdays. We communicate planned route changes to our customers beforehand. 
    Frequent misses: 
    We recorded four prior reports of missed pick-*** for this customer over a 3 year. We acknowledge that even one miss can be an inconvenience to a customer and do our best to offer resolution when there is a miss.
    Holiday Closures:
    Holiday schedule is available to all customers by January of each year on our website. We also post notices to our ******** page and include them on invoices and send out holiday reminders via email.
    We cannot address the complaint about our observance of minor holidays as we are not sure which holidays are considered minor by this customer.
    We hope that this customer is satisfied with the resolution of this issue, and as always, we strive to be better as we move forward.
