    I recently moved into a rental house operated and managed by Maymont Homes, and my experience has been a 10 out of 10. They have a slight miscommunication about work orders but are great at keeping us the tenant informed about the status of our work orders. I look forward to this experience with them as it has started out great.

    I am a new Tenant and I would say so far so good the house is well renovated, I was scared after reading the reviews I was almost convinced to not rent from them but guess they are very responsive
    If anything changes in the future I'll definitely be back but so far so good

    I am a current tenant of a property managed by Maymont Homes, and I have experienced ongoing, unresolved maintenance issues and complete lack of communication from the company. Despite submitting multiple maintenance requests over the past several months, the following issues have been ignored:

    Front door does not close or latch properly, posing a security risk.

    Air conditioning system does not circulate air to the upstairs, making the space unlivable during warm months.

    Persistent mold growth in bathrooms due to poor ventilation, which raises serious health concerns.

    In addition to the unresolved maintenance problems, Maymont Homes has attempted to raise my rent, yet they do not answer any phone calls or emails regarding these increases or provide any justification or support.

    Most recently, Maymont’s landscaping vendor caused approximately $2,000 in damage to my vehicle by operating a weedwacker too close to my car, resulting in significant paint chipping along the entire side. I have contacted Maymont Homes multiple times through emails and phone calls providing detailed information and photos of the damage. I have received no acknowledgment, apology, or attempt at resolution.

    My previous Landlord transfered my lease to this company,and it has been nothing but horrific experience.They have charged Mt account fees and fess because of their transfer issues and system issues that blocked my account from making a payment online thus l had to wait until they open for them to take the payment manually and still they charges my account a late fee while admitting that it is an issue on their end.That to me is redundant.
    Their supervisors lie countless of times.I asked that the call be reviewed,and they had the nerve to tell me that the woman was reviewing the call.
    How can someone,especially who lied review their own call.
    I asked to speak to coporate and she said she was coporate.Their emails always go unanswered.
    Transfered the wrong lease-Charged me a late fee
    Online portal did not work - had to wait until the next Business day for the supervisor to take the paymemt.they ended up charging me a late fee and Claimed that it was my fault,even after I sent the supervisor a screenshot of the error.
    I don't know how anyone could be allowed to run a business in such a manner.

    From my brother-- If you ever want to do business with MaymontHomes , just do yourself a favor and live in your car. I haven’t been home in OVER A MONTH due to plumbing issues! The sewage has been backing up into our drains. They still haven’t resolved due to their lack of communication and organization. Have been getting the run around since the 2nd of june and to make it better they comped my rent a measly $500…

    maymont properties do not rent from please i explain to them i have health conditon and cannot work so im moving out he said ok only charging you 500$ fee so i move out clean home had looking good they sent me a bill for6000$ for carpet cleaning and blinds they alos charge me for simple bill the months i was nolonger staying charge me septic tank bill no septic tank straight low down and crooks

    You’re never able to have your account at a $0 balance due to the account being charged in advance for the following months rent. Was informed that month month charges would be removed once the account is at $0 once more and now I’m being told that I’m responsible when the information was not thorough

    I have been without hot water for a month now. I’ve put in numerous work orders. Only 1 person has been out. 2 other ppl looked at it as a courtesy. But seriously this is unacceptable. I have 4 children and school is about to start so bathing is a kinda necessity ya know. Also…trash fees? Where is that located in the SimpleBills section??? I received a notice saying I had 15 days to pay something I knew NOTHING about. So yeah. It started out nice over here, but I’ve had too many maintenance issues. Most of them I’ve resolved without their help. But there’s nothing that can be done about the water heater expect replace it. And I’m not paying for a water heater at a place I don’t own.
