Ocean State Towing and Recovery in ************************************ ***************) ************ towed my vehicle after it was Repossessed by GM Financial in July. I paid what was due and when I went to pick up my vehicle the car alarm that locks the doors automatically wasn't with my keys. I learned that the Repo guy who picked up my car had it in his possession and forgot to leave it with the vehicle. He promised to stop by- never did. I called the company, lady on the phone was rude and after multiple calls, agreed to mail it. I received a BLANK letter with no key with a bunch of stamps on it. No one knows where the entry key is and they have been passing the buck and not getting back to me with solid answers. The guy who had the key claimed he would look into into and never calls back and last I called hung up on me. I just want an answer to what happened to my entry key and why was I mailed an envelop with NO KEY? Totally unprofessionalBusiness response

3n1ab61e69l658923 2009 SENTRA - ********************* The listed unit was secured on behalf of GM Financial JUNE 15, 2021 and was redeemed by debtor with NO FEES paid at our lot per the attached signed release. Two false statements in the original complaint - documents attached.
We were not aware there were two keys and our driver kindly offered to meet debtor halfway with second fob, our driver attempted phone contact on the arranged day in which ************** did not answer or respond. This gave him our driver's number in which he continued to call numerous times. Our driver advised that the key was turned back into the office and he'd have to call in for more assistance.
******* in our office stated that we could mail back the key fob to him which he agreed upon and indicated clearly that Ocean State Towing & Recovery, Inc. is not responsible for item once it is mailed.
His claim indicates that he received the package we mailed him, if the key is not in it or the packaging was in any way damaged we are not responsible.
No one in the office was rude in any way to **************, we confirmed the package was mailed and he confirmed that it was received and we reiterated the above statement in which we have no responsibility once the item was mailed.
