On Aug.12 I purchased vinyl sheeting for my kitchen floor. It was installed Aug.24 and Aug.25. Five hours of labor turned into a 2day affair. The outcome of that job was more than disappointing. I discovered everything after the installer was gone. Calling the store got me nowhere. I had to wait till September 21 when Mr.Paul Ruggieri came to the house. There was no reaction to anything I pointed out to him. The main issues are The refrigerator and the floor underneath. The fridge does not stand straight; the housing on the left side in back sits flat on the floor. In front of the appliance are bumps in the floor and behind it the floor is buckling. Mr.Ruggieri sah exactly what happened and all I got were two comments: the rest of the floor looks alright and I'm not moving that refrigerator-I have a bad back. Well, that refrigerator has to be moved to get to the problem. The installer must have twisted that unit around until he had it where he wanted it to be. But not where i wanted iBusiness response

The flooring was installed on the days mentioned in the letter provided by ********************* by one of our installation team members.
The flooring required some preparation with an embossing leveler prior to the installation requiring time to set and cure properly before the installation process.
The appliances were moved and replaced as required and generally special glides are used for this process.
When I visited ********************* to view her issues, I brought some cleaner to clean a couple of very minor residual adhesive spots which were removed very easily. She does in fact have a slight issue with her refrigerator where the rear left side is lower and has a slight tilt. There is generally no adjusting feet in that area and I have no clue why this has occurred or whether it was like that prior to our doing the installation. She may require an appliance service person check out that issue.
There is a very sight bubble in the vinyl the size of a dime near the front right wheel of the refrigerator and a possible bubble in the rear as well. Only with a flashlight can you see the rear of the refrigerator at this time. I am not capable of moving the refrigerator myself because of back issue.
Our installation team can return to check out the area after the refrigerator, I feel is more operational and can roll properly.

Mr. ********************** is trying to diminish the problem. It is not just one bubble in front of the refrigerator! I also believe a lot more
is going on underneath. With proper installation, surely, the vinyl would not have shifted. And flashlight or no flashlight -
the floor behind the refrigerator is loose.
The refrigerator stood perfectly level before it was moved! The roller in back is either broken or dislodged and that's why
the appliance sits directly on the floor.
It is the responsibility of the ********************** Company - not mine! - to get in touch with a repair service to see what has to be
done. "Whirlpool is the Brand"
It is unfortunate that Mr. ********************** has a bad back, well, so do I, however, it does not change anything on the situation.
Also, Mr ********************** didn't mention the additional damage that occured, while the installer was here. Why not?!Business response

As mentioned in the previous response, Ruggieri Flooring Inc. has no issue in returning to the customers home to repair the vinyl flooring installed, a small dimes size bubble in front of the refrigerator and what-ever addition attention required behind the refrigerator. We have asked that the customer contact a service company before hand to repair the refrigerators rear wheel. Whether it was dislodged, I do not know. I can schedule a service man out to repair the floor once the refrigerator moves properly. Ruggieri Flooring is not an appliance service company and we have no qualified personal who could handle this repair. The homeowner is requested to handle this appliance repair directly.
As for any other damage, there wasn't any damage other than some clean up of some adhesive residue which has been addressed and cleaned.

Mr. ********************** still refuses.to take responsibility for a bad job. He is legally liable for everything that happened. My business
was conducted with Ruggieri Flooring,Inc. - not the people he hires.
The additional damage to my property: gashes/scratches to woodwork and a bottom kitchen cabinet door; a tear in the
wallpaper, aligned with the refrigerator; a ruined outdoor mat which was covered with cement. Yes, Mr. ********************** saw and
"touched" every issue. He was rather nonchalant about it ! But now he does not admit it ?! Mr. ********************** is giving himself
a very poor statement !
I will get an ***************** to come to my house, only if he picks up the ****. I didn't cause the damage !
The alternative is a new refrigerator. This one, as it is, can not be moved again. I have to be able to get to the wall outlet
in order to turn off the power. The appliance does not have a switch for it.
If Ruggieri Flooring,Inc. does not want to take care of the complaint then they should employ their Insurance Company.Business response

The customer, ********************* continues to over exaggerate her issues at hand which were extremely minor. I went out personally to inspect the over-all installation and listen to her comments as well the installers comments while he tried to work at her home. Customer was very difficult to work with but we did get the installation accomplished as contracted. As discussed earlier, I do not know if the customers refrigerator had a prior rear wheel issue or not but the installer who worked in ********************* has moved hundreds of refrigerators over the years and during that time I have never heard of any prior issues. If ********************* wants to get the refrigerator repaired, I would be willing to assist ********************* and help her by paying half the cost of the appliance repair. All other issues she has made comments on are not deemed to be real issues and she is looking for areas to lodge a complaint but have no real merit.

Now Mr. ********************** is adding insult to injury. What he is trying to do is disgraceful!
The refrigerator. Doesn't he know that had the wheel been broken before the installer would not have been able to roll it out
to put it on his equipment? And doesn't he know if it may or may not ever have happened before that there is a first for everything? I also think that the installer was aware of it all and tried to get away with it.
I reiterate, I did not cause the damage and therefore will not be saddled with extra expenses !!
Is it customary with Ruggieri Flooring,Inc. that a Customer has to eccept a messed up ******************** and damaged property without
the right to a complaint?
The additional damage: it may not mean anything to M. **********************, but it does to me and I do not appreciate it !
He is making up stories I was difficult to work with. I wasn't even allowed to watch the installer. Was told to retreat to my
Livingroom. That alone is unheard of !!.
