I would not recommend this business or Sundance Spa company. We purchased a Sundance spa from Pool City a few years ago. Multiple parts have failed on the spa and we have been forced to pay $75 per visit for service calls. Pool City paid for one of the service calls (which we appreciate). However, they will not use their leverage with Sundance to replace the spa. The spa is a “lemon” and we are not looking forward to paying for multiple service calls as additional parts inevitably fail. In my opinion, Pool City and Sundance do not care about quality or customer satisfaction.

Really would give 0 out if 5- I have had the worst experience with pool city and their contractors that we had to use. I have been ripped off by this company and will never send anyone to pool city. They have no respect for the customer- we are just a paycheck to them- makes me sick knowing how I should have went with another company

Purchased a hot tub from pool city 6 years ago, It began to have a slow leak this summer and we contacted pool city to get to try and get a resolution. They set up a service tech. named *** who came and charged us $155 to diagnose the problem. He took off 1 panel milled around for an hour and left without any communication. After a week we contacted pool city again and they said he lost his notes on what needed to be done. Still no communication with us as the owners to the findings or a solution. *** was un-professional and non responsive. He said he ordered jet bodies with no input from us. I did my on diagnosis of the problem and found a leak not at any of the jets but at main interior light, Clear as a drip to me. I also removed the other panels and checked the jets for leaks and found another wet spot. *** never removed any panel except for the main service panel. Pool city was not forth coming that *** is not their employee and he in fact is an independent sub-contractor. We paid *** for nothing and Pool City will not provide a refund. My last communication with *** ended in him swearing at me. Real Professional - AVOID POOL CITY AT ALL COSTS. They sell c*** and don't service the c*** they sell.

I put a down payment on a pool from pool city west mifflin in February. At that time they told me they had my pool in stock and with in the next week the installer would reach out and come measure everything. After a month of calling he finally showed up and confirmed he could have it done in June. Paid off pool in May so it could be delivered. Again was told someone would reach out to me that week with delivery date. No calls, no answers or returned calls, no help with permits like they said. Only way i could talk to anyone was by physically walking in and asking. Each week for a month they would say next week delivered snd installed. Until one day it just showed up unannounced. Now, installer said he would not dig until i had pool so not to have a giant mud pit if it rained. Called installer the day pool was delivered. No reply back for almost 3 more weeks. Finally, came and dug hole. Installer said he would be back in a day to install. 3 more days went by until I get a call from another pool installer contacted out saying my job has been reassigned to him, but will not install because now it has rained and im left with a giant mud pit in my back yard. At this point Im still waiting for install and am not even sure if i have all the parts needed that have been sitting in my yard for over a month. I am aware of the current supply and labor shortage. But it has been horrible communication, ZERO! No apology, no organization, and constant lies!

They are horrible with customer service. Had a large umbrella that gave us trouble from the day we got it. Hard to get service, now its ripping and over warranty so were screwed ! Even though they replaced parts once , still bad ,,,, never worked right . Bought furniture there also,, rocker not right,, wont come out to look at it, trying to tell me over the phone how to adjust it!!! Horrible ! will never buy anything from them again ,

The excavator they contracted to come out and dig my yard claimed his bobcat couldnt dump the dirt over a 5 fence (I looked it up and it can) so now I am left with a mess in my backyard that I have to cleanup by hand. I was charged almost $700 for 40 mins of work (which is cash only so the excavator can avoid paying income tax). My $299 installation special is going to cost upwards of $1400. Also I am missing parts from the package I ordered. Avoid this sleazy company at all costs
