Please do not use Health Shield they cover nothing. I was told I had blood work covered only have to pay $20 then get a bill for $170.84 on top. They are refusing to pay and have left me to pay it. Been on the phone to them and they don't want to know stating this is the plan. Biggest CON COMPANY OUT THERE.Review from Shaquille H

It’s a scam. Don’t waste a penny. I paid for over a year. Went to use for a yearly exam and blood work. They denied my claim and never paid one penny. They lie and say it’s a $25 copay. Don’t walk run from this companyReview from JH R

Reached out for IVF coverage and was sold a plan that I was told included IVF coverage. There was no IVF coverage in the plan. Thankfully, cancelling the plan was easy, but we are out the $100 plan purchase fee. Absolutely do not recommend using Health Shield for any reason.Review from Laura C

Do not go with this company!! They lie they do not provide what is promised they cost a lot of money and give you nothing I was promised free prescriptions for a doctor visits for this free that and I received none of it and then when I finally could look on their website cuz they don't let you look before hand I get nothing. We called inquiring about heath insurance. I told them my husband lost his coverage from his job. They informed us about what seem to be ideal coverage we can use at the doctors of our choice then they took our money. We Never received any insurance cards. When I inquired about not receiving the card they sent cards to my Gmail. On the cards it said this is not health insurance. We're tring to figure out what we payed for when we called this company because we were looking for health insurance. We would like a full refund because we're in the same situation we were in before we called this company no insurance coverage and out of 377.00 dollars taken by health shield they charge an extra 100.00 dollars for Association fee. Claims to be health insurance but had paid nothing. Not the blood work not even the primary doctor that’s after I finally found one that the office number worked on. I have over $2300 in bills that they refused to pay on top of the 365.00 monthly payments that have been automatically taken out of my account. They won’t answer the phone or call me back. This company should be invested and charged so that we’re the people can get some odd or money back.Customer Response

I signed up for health insurance through health shield and was told I would be getting full coverage health, dental, and vision. When I went to my dr for health problems and tried using my insurance card it wouldn't work then my dr explained to me that I didn't have any insurance... I've had about 600 dollars come out of my account since then and I can't seem to figure out how to cancel the transactions and the policy... I would like a refund of my money
