I moved into ** ********* ** in 2008 at that time the drive way was graveled for 2 cars to park in it with ample space. Over the years the gravel have sunk into the ground and been moved when the plow comes along the road. No gravel has been added by the park management since I've rented this lot. In Nov 2020 the drive was dug up along the right side and across the front of the mobile home for gas lines to be laid. This made the drive muddy. The company who did the digging did not replace all of the gravel they had dug up. I complained to Columbia gas and the company who did the digging, numerous times, my complaints fell on deaf ears. I then complained to Riverview estates, who was made aware of the complaints i made to Columbia gas. In August on 2021 I made Riverview Estates aware that I would be parking 2 cars in my drive instead of just the 1 that i had been parking. I requested numerous times for fresh gravel to be laid in the drive as the right side of the drive the gravel is sparse. I have complained to *** ******* *** **** ******, both have informed me they will let ***** know and get back to me. Neither *** ** **** ** ***** get back to me. On one occasion **** informed me that my neighbor has purchased his own gravel for his driveway. My request and complaint was not about my neighbor. As a renter my responsibility is to mow and trim the grass and to shovel the walk/drive. Any trees on the lot belong to Riverview Estates, therefore the gravel in the drive also belongs to Riverview Estates and should not be my responsibility to pay for upkeep of the driveway, such as gravel and to have it spread. Currently the right side of the drive, where the 2nd car is being parked is a muddy mess with tire ruts and a slop to it. The gravel on the left side of the drive is sparse in spots creating muddy areas as well. Riverview has rules about parking, the driveway is the only space that a tenant is able to park in.Business response

Good Morning,
I realize it is well past the time to submit a response to the complaint letter we received but I do want to take a moment and explain our side of the situation. If you will, please read on….
We (BF Adventures, LLC) purchased Riverview Estates January 1, 2021. When we purchased the park it had been neglected for many years and was in dire need of an array of work to bring it back to a nice place for the tenants to reside in. As soon as the weather permitted, we got to work removing junk, cleaning up empty lots, repairing water leaks, paving all of the roads in the park, etc. The tenant that complained is not wrong, the gas company did come through, prior to our ownership, and place new lines and left a mess in their wake. We suggested to reach out to them as it was their responsibility to return the property to what it was before they laid the new lines. We as well reached out in an attempt to get them back to repair this tenants lot as well as others. Their response was that they hire a third party to do the work and it is their responsibility to take care of things. While waiting on the attempt to have them fix things, we did assess the situation and we did go to the tenants lot to remove tree roots that were left unearthed and we smoothed her lot out. It is very possible we would have gotten to the gravel but with so much work to do and the season change we did not make it that far. Furthermore, we had an opportunity to sell the property now that we had restored the park to the property close to where we believed it should be. As it happens, we did sold the property on February 17th, 2022 so the continued work we planned on doing in the summer of this year is now on the new owners.
We had no intentions of neglecting this tenants complaints. We are a small business and we work hard to address as many issues as possible in a timely manner. We pride ourselves on good customer relations and making any property we own better than we bought it. The time frame we had to accomplish all of this was just not enough. I hope the tenant finds a resolve with the new owners and we wish them the best going forward.
Thank you for taking the time to read our response to the complaint you received.
