      I called Roto-Rooter for an estimate to inspect a drain clog. The phone representative scheduled the appoint and said there would be a $145.00 service fee to show up at the residence. If I chose to accept the work estimate from the technician after inspection, the $145.00 fee would be dropped from the charges. I accepted and the technician inspected the problem, gave me the total estimate of $473.80. I asked if the initial $145.00 service charge would be removed and I was told yes. When I received my invoice and credit card charges, there was one charge of $328.80 and one charge for $145.00 for a total of $473.80. When I called the manager, the manager told me that the $145.00 service fee was removed and the total would I guess have been $618.80 but I was not told this. Nor, is it explained in my invoice. There are just two separate charges. I am requesting a refund of $145.00 Service Fee that was promised to be returned.

      I called about a leak under my kitchen sink. I got no estimate or bill. before I paid. ***** made me sign a small (tiny) something printed on his phone. I got things I didn't need or want like: a brand new kitchen faucet for $500 (!!!), 2 P-traps, snaking the drain, and a new soap dispenser I was charged $500 for the 1st day and $1,100 ((!!!) for the second day, a grand total of $1,100(!) for a small leak. ***** said sometimes they break a pipe while snaking. We discovered another leak in the pipe he snaked and fixed it. When I called and tried to talk with the boss about the price, he said, "We can't come out for every little leak." (This from a plumber) I paid $1,100! And now the sink drains and the basin fills up.

      ************* reached out to our company for a leak under her sink. During our inspection we found a leak in the trap adapter that continued into the wall. The faucet spout was corroded and would barely move side to side. This caused the faucet base plate to come loose from the continued use of the damaged faucet allowing water to leak into the cabinet below. Contributing to water damage the the sink cabinet. ************* called ** back shortly after stating they had found a leak under the sink. We sent our technician back out and he discovered a corroded pipe in a crawl space under the sink that was not associated with our repairs. We gave ************* a proposal to repair her rotting galvanized pipe under her crawl space. The galvanized pipe under her crawl space was not included in her proposal or found until after the initial repairs where completed. We gave ************* a proposal to repair her corroded galvanized pipe and she accepted and canceled the repair twice. I spoke with ************* on the phone about her issues and concerns. Our warranty only covers our repairs and does not cover repairs to existing piping and fixtures. ************* will only except a resolution that we take responsibility for existing corroded galvanized pipe under her subfloor that was not included or diagnosed at the time of service. I would be willing to work with ************* on the proposal we have given for the additional repairs, however I am not willing to make this repairs for free as requested by ************* as a resolution.
