      My recently deceased father was a VERY long time customer of Meenan, and I am the executor of his estate. When he became incapacitated, I had numerous conversations with various Meenan employees, had them come give me a quote to replace the failing boiler at his home, and they told me to let them know if I wanted to suspend oil deliveries, since he was not in the house. No mention of an early termination fee. Mid February I called to suspend deliveries, since there was enough oil to keep the house reasonably warm through March at least, and there was no sense in burning through the little bit of money available to the estate on oil for an empty house. Anyway, to my surprise I got a $399 bill for early termination; I called *** (who I'd spoken to about the boiler replacement) and he said he'd look into getting it waived, seeing as how my dad had been a loyal customer for as long as anyone could remember, and because he was now dead. To my dismay, I got another bill for $399 yesterday. My father signed that contract; I did not, and so far as I'm concerned these vultures are just trying to pick a dead man's pockets. I think that fee should be waived. He paid them a TON of money over the decades he was a customer. Enough's enough.

      Thank you for bringing this to our attention, First my condolences for your father passing away.  We were going to remove the Early termination fee, we were just waiting on the death certificate.  In the meantime I have removed the ETF.

      We were mislead on the phone about contract. ( they have a recording of transaction) We were led to believe we would receive a tank and half of oil. I thought they would deliver until we met that requirement. Instead they kept coming out and filling our tank . when we asked them to stop they cancelled the contract and charged us 400.00 plus 100.00 for referral fee. This is unconscionable at the price of all today. We are seniors and live on a fixed income. Oil prices are high enough without being gouged by this Co. Thank you for your attention.

      We spoke with ***************** regarding the ETF and $100 cr. charge back - ISR I listen to the calls and even though ISR explained auto delvs. we do understand how she misinterpreted everything when requesting a tank and half - adv. we will reverse the charge of the  ETF of $399 and the $100 cr. - after it's posted will request to see if we could refund the credit card that she used to make the payment - explained would take about a week or so - cx ok and thanked us for call her back -

      I was the power of attorney for my Brother ************************* @ ******************** Levittown *******. My brother passed in June of 2021. Power of attorney ends at the time of death, bank accounts are frozen etc. He had no will and the next of kin is in prison. At that point everything was out of my hand. Now I am told that I can not have a oil contract at my house. I have had Meehan contracts on and off for years. I can not believe you will not consider my past accounts and not allow me to have an oil contract at home. I have no power over my brothers accounts!!       We reviewed the account of the deceased and called ******* to explain that the Early Termination Fee and Balance would be waived.  We offered to set up new oil account and customer refused.  ******* went with another company.

      COMPLAINT - We have been with Meenan for over 25 years and have never had so many issues with Meehan until the 2021/2022 winter. We had a new heater installed in 2020 so we did not need a service contract. We received an invoice for tank coverage which we had for several years. We called Meehan and asked if we could keep the tank agreement without a service contact, we were told yes. the next thing we receive a contact for oil delivery. When we called, we were told we had to have automatic delivery service since we had tank agreement. We were never informed of any stipulations with having a tank insurance. We should have been informed of this and we would have moved our business to another company. The tank valve begun to drip and when the guy came out he said he did not have the part, a 2nd guy came out and said he didn't have the part. A third party company came out, which Meehan never identified and we had to confirm they were associated with Meehan since their truck did not state Meehan. Now we received a $70 assessment bill because we did not have a service contact. WE WANT TO GET OFF THIS MERRY GO ROUND. EVERY PERSON WE TALK TO GIVES US A DIFFERNT REASON. We always felt very secure having Meehan in our back pocket incase we had an issue and now all we have are issues.

      Called ******************************* and explained that he was credited back Service charge of $69.95.  Also confirmed that Oil tank SA will be staying on the account.  Confirmed credit of $83.12  on last Oil delivery also.  Customer is content.

      After 27 yrs with this company on:2/21/22 was told my next auto delivery would be approx March 7th. This would give me time to apply for a ceiling price plan @4.30 per gal or seek oil elsewhere. 2/23/22 they auto delivered 151 gal @ 5.149 per gal. Over all the years with this company their delivery dates were extremely accurate. This time, without a ceiling price plan in affect & an extremely high price; they decide on a whim to deliver 2 weeks early. What a dishonest slimey move. Then Evette of Customer Loyalty Program, tells me the representative who told me early March was wrong. I had called 3 times between Jan 2022 & Feb 2022, and each representative told me "early March". So much for being a loyal customer.

      2/23/2022 and 2/28/2022 We discussed her acct and possibly cancel due to the Price per Gallon of the delivery, we worked with Mrs on the cost of the delivery, offered to protect her price at the 4.449 for 1 yr but she needs to think about it, was very upset. i advised her i would follow up.

      3/5/2022 Left voicemail regarding the account, we are placing account on stop today since that is what she originally wanted and now not responding back.
      3/9/2022 Left voicemail. regarding the prices we discussed.3/10/2022 Called *********************** went over to cancel her acct due to issues with our company she was upset over the last delivery price which I had adjusted for her, she is not interested in being a Meenan customer any longer. Welcomed *** back.
