The dealer uses a 3rd party company to send information to other state ***s which I shouldnt have had to use. The person that does *** in the dealer ***** I have spoken to several times as the temporary plate I have is expiring yet this third party has not done anything with the ** ***. I called **S *** multiple times to check to see if they received it. Now the plate is expiring in a few days they are supposed to be sending me a dealer plate until this 3rd party resolves that issue. I asked if I can speak to the 3rd party myself & was told I cannot as I am not the customer even though they have my information. I want my paperwork so I can go myself to the *** to register my car & get the title.

I bought a used 2016 ***** ******* at 5:30 p.m.8- 6th as I was driving home the check engine light came, on, abs system light came on. I texted the dealer number they said they were sorry they get in contact with me Saturday morning .I spoke to ****** twice on Saturday morning. I never heard back by 5:00 p.m. I drove the car back to the lot and left there 8-8. I requested for them to return the car there were too many issues to fix and I don't feel safe driving it or putting my daughter in it. I am a single mother with a sick child and I can't afford to sink money into a car they refuse to give me my money back or cancel the bank loan or to put me in a safer car. I've been contacting them for days. I'm not getting any resolution to this issue. I have reached to 2 lawyers, and lemon law waiting to hear back from them. I would really like this transaction canceled, my money returned asap. It's not safe enough drive. Can you please help me.

      Dear ******* *******:

We are familiar with our customer ID ending in ****, His problem started in the early part of April 2021 he had his car towed to a dealership in Long Island while he was driving customer states car overheated and stopped running, he had it towed to the closest ******, dealership which was ***** ***** ****** of Long Island. *** * told them he had a non-****** warranty and gave that dealership permission to remove the engine and find the cause of the failure. They determined it was the head gasket and that it was leaking over a period of time due to the inspection and residue of coolant on the engine block. ***** ***** ****** then called the warranty company and they sent an inspector out and determined it was not covered under his warranty due to lack of maintenance and upkeep of car. **** was not happy with this and the warranty company sent 2 different inspectors out and both had the same conclusion not covered. *** * called myself Tim K**** Service Director at Ertle ****** where he purchased his car from looking for help. I then called the warranty company and spoke with a supervisor and was told failure is not covered as explained. When ***** ***** ****** removed the engine they also gave MRP a price on the repairs which were $17,500. The repairs include a new engine short block new cylinder heads and new turbo and other related engine components this will show the severity of damage that was caused by ** * continually driving his car while it was overheating, this is how there is so much damage to his engine. So **** provided the estimate to me and I looked it over and provided him a price of $14,500 just going off the original estimate and discounting it to assist our customer. This was not satisfying to the customer so ! contacted our ****** Rep and explained the situation and ****** of America agreed to contribute $6,000 towards this repair as a courtesy to our dealership and the customer and Mr. Ertle the owner of Ertle ****** offered to contribute $2,500 so that is $8,500 towards the repair on a 2016 ****** with 135,000 miles on it. Also this is a customer who does not perform regular service at our dealership.
Tim K**** called *** *and I explained to him his original charges were $14,500 and after assistance the new estimate will be $6,000 and we will repair his car and provide him with a loaner car while repairs are being made and *** * agreed to all this:

So on about May 17 he towed his car to us and came into our dealership and spoke with my Service Manger Chris J******, while attempting to get all the information from **** my Service manager was reviewing the notes in the computer and told *** * he would be responsible for $6,000 and we will put his car back together and make it like new, *** * stated I will not pay anything walked out and stated he will call all his lawyers. So he left without giving us his keys or signing any paperwork, after several phone calls and attempts to reach MRP with no response we now are storing his ****** in our secured lot with no keys to his car. We Value our customer strongly and we feel we tried everything to assist *** *and satisfy his needs.

      Sincerely

      Timothy K.
