      Do not do business with them. They gave us free oil changes and free state inspection when we purchased the vehicle. When it comes time to get the oil changed or inspection needs to be done, they say they can’t get you in for 2 months. So you end up paying anyway. I had my friend call and make an appointment for an oil change to see when they would get her in (she would be a paying customer) they gave her an appointment within two weeks. I had no choice but to go get my oil changed somewhere else. I called Dickson city Hyundai to see what oil they use in my car, they told me the wrong oil. Thank god the place I took my car to realized that. They offer no resolution whatsoever to compensate you for the money you’re now spending on what was suppose to be free. They actually think it’s funny.

      Great product but terrible back office services. Go to another dealer if you want your Hyundai to be properly registered. Three times this dealer expected me, the customer, to correct the county of residence error they made with PA Department of Motor Vehicles. I did the first two times… three times, THEY’RE OUT!! Three months later, I still do not have my correct registration. Sad and incompetent, taking my future business elsewhere.

      I purchased a car from this dealership in 2017 and had a good experience. In 2021 when I was looking to trade in and get a new car I had multiple conversations via text and phone with one salesman. After several days of discussing things, he quoted me a monthly payment that was much higher than it should have been with the zero percent financing that was a promotion in place and he had told me I qualified for. When I questioned how he had come up with that figure he suddenly would not text and insisted he call me. He did and told me that due to the limited availability of cars he was able to get thousands more for vehicles over the sticker price and that if I wanted to purchase one, I would have to pay more than the listed price. I refused and expressed my concern about his dishonest practices to which he responded it was not a good time to be buying a car and that their dealership was doing it on all vehicles and people were paying. He then texted me later that day stating he talked to his "boss" and could offer me the car for sticker price but I would have to finance at 2.9%. Needless to say, I did not respond and took my business elsewhere.

      Dickson City Hyundai will not honor my car’s warranty. I wouldn’t even give them 1 star if I was able to give zero. They treated me with such disrespect. When I asked them why I couldn’t schedule an appointment and why I was being turned away, they did not give me an explanation. I don’t understand how Dickson City Hyundai allows their service team to treat paying customers like that. I don’t even want the vehicle anymore.

      I took my 2016 Hyundai Tucson to the Dickson City Hyundai service department when I noticed that my braking experience was not the same as previous. I was told that it needed a new axle. Sounded odd, but it was the service department for the dealership where I bought my vehicle, so I went ahead and paid the $1,200 for a new axle and labor. The problem was not fixed; it was identical to when I brought the vehicle in. So, I brought it back to them. They did another "analysis" that cost over $100 and said it needed more new parts. So, I paid another $600. The problem is not fixed; it is identical to when I first brought the vehicle in. At this point, I think they were just selling me parts. and my warranty had run out, so it was very painful. Car now with same problem and I had shelled out nearly $2,000. To add to this, the car only had $60,000 miles when I brought it in to service a year earlier for a funny sound in the motor. That time, they said it needed an entirely new engine. Just over 60,000 miles and I had to replace the engine, and I had only partial warranty because it was over 60,000 miles. I got ripped off by Sears one time because it came out in the news they were selling customers service they didn't need. Makes me wonder if this Hyundai Service department is doing something similar.

      Horrible experience with this place. Stay away. Things are good until you sign the papers.
