I’ve reached out to pyramid healthcare in Altoona, PA regarding a bill sent on 3/8/2021 more than a dozen times over the last year and a half to rectify a billing issue on my account. Not once have they returned a phone call to correct the issue the only resolution is that a new bill is sent. I was sent a bill outlining the charges that should have been billed to my healthcare provider at the time of the service. I know this only because the customer service team has confirmed the error on several calls, however they continue to send the bill. The fee in dispute is over the $120 assessment required to engage in services. As you will see in the attached documents the $120 has been paid and the balance owed by the healthcare provider remains at $255. There also seems to be another $40 undocumented unpaid charge on the account in spite of there being several transactions showing a $0 balance after services being paid on time. I would appreciate if Pyramid healthcare could send the bill appropriately to *** and discontinue sending it to my home as well as remove the mystery $40 charge. I would also be happy to provide evidence of the $120 payment if needed. Thank you BBB.

My daughter had an intake at ***************** (part of Pyramid) in ********* **. She had dual insurance coverage. She was told there would be no co-pay. Several month later I received a **** for $350, a $35 co-pay was charged for 10 visits. I never signed a financial liability form and we were never told that the agency did not accept her secondary insurance. In fact we were told there would be no co-pay. I called the billing office, the director of the program, left messages for Pyramid executives and no one had taken responsibility and I continue to get billed even though they misrepresented our payment portion.

On 01/14/2021 I took my 14-year old son to The ************* clinic (a subsidiary of Pyramid Health) for a psychological evaluation to determine a need for behavioral care services. After a brief evaluation, we were given one of only two choices for services which we were not interested in, as it it would require him to be pulled out of school. We inquired about other counseling services we could take advantage of but were informed that based on their evaluation, the one service offered to us was the only one available. After discussing this matter with the counselor and her supervisor, I decided that the service offered was not suitable to my son's needs. I then asked the supervisor if we would be charged for the "evaluation" and she responded that she did not know. Two weeks later I received a bill for $225.00. In response I have made numerous calls and every time I'm told someone will get back to me but on ever does. Instead, i get another bill in the mail.
