Subject: Complaint Regarding Unfair Treatment, Lack of Communication, and Billing Issues with Awesome Life Group LLC Dear Better Business Bureau, I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the services provided by Awesome Life Group LLC. As a longstanding customer of approximately four years, my recent experiences have left me feeling robbed and cheated. On January 17, 2024, I attempted to re-sign up for Awesome Life Group LLC's services, having been a loyal client for years. Unfortunately, my attempts were met with significant challenges. After days of futile attempts to sign in and reach someone at the office, my account was reset. Despite entering my information as usual and signing a form, it has been nearly two weeks of frustration. Multiple calls to the sales and customer service lines have gone unanswered. Instead, I received a vague email after leaving a voicemail, stating that they would not service me at this time and directing me to use SkyBlueCredit. This lack of explanation and poor customer care is deeply disappointing. Furthermore, during a conversation with Tracy on January 19, 2024, I learned that Awesome Life Group LLC decided my account was not a good fit based on a review of my previous history with them. Tracy referred me elsewhere and mentioned an outstanding invoice. When I inquired about the company's policy regarding missed payments and client dismissal, Tracy evaded the question. After persistent efforts, she reluctantly disclosed that the outstanding invoice was for one month's worth of payments, with no prior notifications other than an automated email through the portal. These incidents collectively illustrate the degradation of Awesome Life Group LLC's service quality over the years. As a former satisfied customer who once recommended their services, I am appalled by the lack of transparency, communication, and customer care.Business response

The company claims to assist you with credit but offers minimal insight into what is going on after they collect payment . I reach out to them with follow up letters and questions on a regular basis and they hardly ever respond The most they respond is to be sure you make your payments . Then you don’t hear from them again until you set up online phone calls . I paid $300 so far and have gotten no updates on my credit repair process that began January 30. They will not refund me because they say I was 2 day lates and they delayed the repair process According their terms . I messaged and called on several occasions and got no response . I am still requesting a refund.Business response

I retained Awesome life group to repair my credit back in October. They did not deliver. They charged my account and then dropped me as a client. I tried calling after I was unable to gain access to their site and no one returned my call. I left a review on Google and they responded back stating I was never a client. I have a screenshot showing awesome life group denying me as a client and one from my bank account showing they charged my account, so clearly I was a client.Business response

In our reply to this person we letter her know that we did not have a client with the name ********** ***** and if she was in fact a client to contact us to address her concerns. We never received a phone call. With this complaint she is using the name ********** *******. We had a client that with the name ********** ******s that signed up for services. Attached is a list of the services that were provided to the client. *** *****s was canceled as a client after several declined Payments. Awesome Life Group has delivered the services that we agreed to do.Customer response

I paid for credit repair service, I was promised I would get my money back if my credit was not repaired. My credit wasn't repaired. I called and asked for my money back and they refused to give me my money back. They kept telling me that I needed to wait because every credit situation was different and stringed my along for months. My credit was never fixed it was actually damaged.Business response

After reviewing our records, The Awesome Life Group, LLC cannot locate any information confirming that, during the time of service with us and leading up to now, ******* ***** ever requested a refund. We conducted a review of the credit repair file for this former client, and our review findings are that ******* ***** is not eligible and would not have been eligible for a refund under our 90 Day Money Back Guarantee, had they requested a refund. The Awesome Life Group, LLC was successful in getting the removal and/or update of several derogatory and/or erroneous items from the clients credit bureau reports within the first 90 days of service. Please see below for more detailed information regarding the outcome of the work we completed for this client. The credit repair account for ******* ***** was cancelled/closed on 10/14/2021, at the clients request, and we are unclear as to the reason for a dispute or complaint over 9 months after cancellation. Please see the following list of updates and or deletions pertaining to this person's credit repair account/service. We have documentation and copies of the credit reports from the time service started until the time service ended to substantiate the information we have provided here. Thank you!

There were items that I specifically wanted off of my report that I was promised and it was not delivered. The items that were taken off of my account were not the items that I had an issue with. This was made blinker through many correspondence that were made through their secure server which I do not have access to. False bankruptcy’s and loan accounts are still in my report that I was promised would be able to be taken off.

While we would like to resolve this matter, and we have responded to this former client’s initial complaint with the BBB in a timely manner, it seems we have come to a resolution. The Awesome Life Group, LLC follows all applicable laws, policies, and procedures regarding credit repair service. Our company provides a written agreement as well as a statement of the Consumer Rights to the consumer prior to starting their credit repair, in which they agree that they have reviewed the information provided, they understand the information, and that they agree to the terms of our credit repair service.
The Awesome Life Group, LLC cannot, has not, and will not make any promises or guarantees regarding the following:
which disputed items, if any, will be removed and/or updated; a 100% repair/fix of the consumer’s credit/credit report; a specific time frame for the consumer’s credit report to be repaired, updated, or show changes. We will exhaust all options within our means to assist the client, however, we cannot force the credit bureaus to remove information from the client’s credit report that they feel has been properly verified/validated.
Our company does rely heavily on written/electronic documentation with regards to our credit repair service. Any correspondence received from the client is saved to their file. Any verbal/written communication with the client is documented in their internal notes. When a client requests a cancellation or refund, we provide written instructions through the secure client portal explaining that we require a written request via e-mail. This will allow us to document when the cancel instructions were sent to the client, when the written request was received from the client, where the request was sent from (email address), and verify that we addressed, processed, and/or responded to the request within a reasonable amount of time.
As we previously stated, The Awesome Life Group, LLC does not have any documentation, notes, or references, anywhere in our system, indicating this client ever requested a refund. Without proof, we cannot substantiate their claim that they requested a refund, verbally or otherwise. It would not have been an issue to respond to the client, complete a refund review, and inform them that they were, in fact, not eligible for a refund.
As to the 90 Day Money Back Guarantee, if The Awesome Life Group, LLC is disputing negative, inaccurate, or outdated items on behalf of our client, and any of these items are removed and/or updated, within the first 90 days of service, the client is NOT eligible for a refund. The client agreed to our terms of service, which included the 90 Day Money Back Guarantee listed in their Client Agreement and on our web site. The client cannot come back after the fact and say those items don't count, or those items are not the one's I wanted off. The credit repair process is discussed with the client, regular updates are provided to the client, and the letters we send out on behalf of the client are saved in the Client Portal for the client to view/print/copy at any time during their credit repair service. The client is made fully aware of what we are disputing, when their letters are being processed, and who we are sending letters/disputes to.
We stand firm that The Awesome Life Group, LLC did everything we were required to do and this former client is not due a refund. It is unfortunate that they did not reach their desired results and they were not/are not happy with our service.Customer response

I would not have signed up for the service if the things that I wanted off of my credit were not discussed and promised to be removed beforehand. I stopped my services because I saw that things were not coming off and I was being charged every month and sent in circles when I asked when things would be fixed. Bad business practices are being used. I definitely feel taken advantage of and my credit is in worst shape than it started. I asked for a refund because I did not get the services that were promised. I still would like a refund and they are refusing.

Most Disappointing and unprofessional experience ever. Awesome life group lacks professionalism and empathy. Awesome life group is only concerned about receiving your monthly payment nothing more and nothing less. No communication whatsoever. My credit score significantly dunked twice in April 2022. 58 points on April 4, 2022 and 79 points on April 18, 2022. (See pictures). Awesome life group does not warn you about this which is deceitful. Awesome life group also removes positive accounts off your credit report (see pictures). When asked about this, awesome life group did not provide an explanation. Instead, instructed me on how to cancel my services. Completely nonchalant (see pictures). You can not make this stuff up. I intend on seeking legal action. My credit is far worse than when I started.Business response

I started with Awesome Life Group in April 2020 I hopes of removing negative accounts and a bankruptcy from my credit report. They assured they can help me. Paid $199 the. $149/month until May 2021. Barely made a dent on my credit report. Bankruptcy is still there and most negative accounts. They kept sending the same letter month after month with no results. Then in November 2020 a new collection account appeared on my report. I advised my credit specialist Alexis and she advised to call the collection agency myself if I felt it was an error. Big mistake. This supposed credit specialist should know not to direct anyone to call collections themselves without knowing what they are doing especially if trying to clear this up. She did nothing. I ended up saying the wrong things and of course the account was not deleted. I do not recommend this company at all!Business response
