I received a letter from the dealership saying they were interested in my low mileage car. I looked at their inventory and was interested in the ********** *********. While online reviewing the car I received an incentive offer from their dealership for $4500 off the list price. I even took a snapshot. I contacted a sales person, who I previously worked with, and verified that indeed the car I was interested in was available at $4500 off. He confirmed. I went to dealership test drove the car, when it came down looking at the numbers, while they honor the amount of $20,000 for a trade-in, the car was at list price. I mentioned that the $4500 discount was missing. The rep said, oh yes you're correct. He went back to the manager, they sent him back telling him IT posted in error . It was the only one left So now they want full price. I've looked up the FTC laws and it appears they are responsible for honoring that price. I reached out to them again and they have not returned my calls.
