I live in a mobile home and pay rent to gsp mgt and they supply the water and sewer lines that I pay for every month for my usage. I have not been able to live in my home since November 13th 2022 due to a clog or broken sewage line. The company took my rent and water and sewage payments in Nov and Dec of 2022. They are also charging me rent for Jan and since I’m withholding the rent they are charging late fees. I signed a lease through them stating they are responsible for the sewage maintenance. I have never been contacted from them to accommodate any living expenses or to house me in a hotel. I had to ask my daughter to stay with her and we are at 2 months now and I have over stayed my welcome. Short term for anyone is fine not long term. I can’t use any water or sewage at my mobile which required me to leave my home. The company has no expected date as of 1/11/2023 at this point of fixing it. They have a park manager that I call on a weekly and daily basis to find out if there is any progress. He also makes no effort to contact me about things that are going on. When you call the management company the women that are there are very rude and unhelpful. They also don’t call you back when you leave a message. I’m 71 years old this is ridiculous at this point. Something needs resolved quickly.Initial Complaint

This has been ongong situation about safety in the ************ Mobile Home Park located in Indiana PA>.We have been asking and told that when its our turn our trees surrounding our home would be limbed out this was October 2017 by the park manager. YES a huge branch did come down and damaged our job trailer that was allowed to be parked on the property it caused over $1500 worth of damage and was told it was an act of God that this happened and that GSP wasnt liable for this damage but in the future tree would be limbed out. Since then 3 properties have been taken care of and ours wasnt one of them. One property that was taken care of didnt have any residents living in the mobile home but trees was taken down, Everytime we get feed up with huge branches coming down on our vehicles and new metal roof we also live in constant fear of being evicted as well. FYI we are now the ONLY mixed couples living in the park. Finally in August 2021 after a huge storm we again commented and GSP did come and was going from site to site with the managers of the park. September several trees was marked to be taken down and others to be limbed out. October 2021 I did contact the property manager and have a voicemail stating that bid was but in but STILL waiiting for funds to be made available for these trees to be removed. WHY is this taking so long? They raise the rental rate 3x which happens ASAP but arent maintaing the trees as well as the road into the property. All we are asking for is to be treated equally and have these trees removed as well as others being limbed out. Hopefully this will be resolved soon Quiet park but this is getting OLD.Business response

I represent GSP Management Co. as its general counsel and am writing in response to the above-referenced complaint.
The consumer owns a manufactured home that is located in the ******** ***** manufactured home community in ***** Township, Indiana County. GSP manages ******** ***** and is responsible for maintenance of the community. ******** ***** is a ground lease community, meaning a tenant who resides in ******** ***** owns his or her own manufactured home and rents the lot on which the home is located.GSP has retained ****** Tree Service to trim and remove trees as necessary. They will be starting with the consumer’s lot. In addition to the tree work, GSP will be getting estimates on pothole repair in the spring.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because:As in the response it is stated that it is GSP management to maintain the property at colonial court however this hasn't happened in the past hence is the reason for a huge branch in 2017 going thru my job trailer which was granted permission to be parked on my lot by management. When it was reported to her she informed me that it was an act of God that happened and also to remove my job trailer immediately. So the word of anything happening is upon deaf ears. I want to believe this will happen since we are now at this level but would feel more confident if a POSITIVE date would be given. FYI I was never compensated for the damage to my job trailer which was estimated over $1000. After the heavy winds this past weekend just on my property alone has 5 hanging limbs/branches one is extremely huge hanging right over a bedroom area. This is why this needs immediate attention for safety as well. If you need to contact me directly I am not opposed to that direct contact # is ************ is my personal cell. Thank you for your response.
Regards,

Dear *** *****,
I represent GSP Management Co. as its general counsel and am writing in response to the consumer’s “rejection” of our response to the above-referenced complaint.
As I explained in my February 22, 2022, GSP retained ****** Tree Service to trim and remove trees in ******** ***** as necessary. They were instructed to begin with the trees on the consumer’s lot.
Despite the consumer’s “rejection” of our response, I am writing to inform you that ****** Tree Service completed its work in ******** ***** on March 8, 2022. Every tree that was unsafe was trimmed or removed. ****** will be coming back this week (conditions permitting) to remove the tree directly adjacent to the consumer’s home. Even though ****** deemed that tree not to be a hazard, GSP is removing the tree to improve the consumer’s peace of mind. With respect to the consumer’s “job trailer,” which the consumer did not address in her initial complaint, community management allowed the consumer to keep the job trailer on site for a couple days. Although community policy prohibits tenants from storing job trailers in the community overnight, community management made an exception for this consumer for a few days.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. If you have any questions, please let me know.
Very truly yours,
GSP Management Co.
