This oxygen supply company would not provide me with oxygen for travel to Philadelphia. Company states that the 14 surround affiliate companies do not have one concentrator available for a 3 day stay. When I emphasized that I am taking this trip for a lifesaving procedure, the phone salesperson was extremely rude and would not work with me. Their staff are abusive to disabled people.

I recieved a breast pump through this business and in the email they sent me after I placed my order it specifically stated that if there was an extra charge that wasn't covered by my insurance, they would not ship the pump until it was paid: "If you selected a pump model that comes with an Upgrade Fee, please make sure to call ************ to provide payment. Your order will be on hold until the payment is received" They sent me the pump and now keep sending me payment request for $200 (the pump doesn't even retail for that much!!). I have called them multiple times and they told me they will bill my insurance, but the letters keep coming.

AdaptHealth has denied Me -- Life required medical supplies. And sent to collections (saying) non-payment on Account. 7 Orders this year -- My bank has PAID 7 Orders. My bank has provided written checks and documentation; validating payment and cashing by AdaptHealth. I have mailed by registered mail the proof and emailed several copies. Still denied services. AdaptHealth personnel at check in-take and billing refuse to act.

On 2/4/2022 I did a sleep study with Dr. Michael M******. I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea. I was recommended to get a CPAP machine. On 2/28/2022 I received a phone call from a company I never heard of telling me that my CPAP machine was ready for pickup. I was told that the machine was approved and paid for by my health insurance UMR. They gave me the address to pick up the machine at their Savannah Office (Aerocare). When I arrived at the office I was shown paperwork claiming the machine was approved and my cost was zero dollars, due to the fact that I do not have a co-pay or deductible. Months later I started receiving bills totaling $3,452.82. When I contact my insurance company they tell me the machine was never authorized and that they should have never given me the machine. I was advised to return the machine because it was a rental and never authorized. For the last 3 months, I contacted Aerocare, Southeast Homecare & Respiratory, and Adapt Health for a resolution. Every time I call I'm told to call one of the three. I'm told we are looking into and someone will call you back. No one ever does. I need to warn others to make sure this company actually has approval before picking up any devices they supply. When I stated that I wanted to return the machine I was advised that someone in the company changed it to purchase not a rental. They claimed it was done to prevent me from receiving rental charges of $180.00 a month. To this day no one has called me back or set up a time or date to return their machine.

Adapt Health billed my husband and money was taken out of his bank account directly in the amount of $161.00 in December 2021. The next bill that arrived was over $600.00. The next bill received on March 28, 2022 was in the amount of $713.88. This company failed to bill our insurance for my husband's diabetic monitors. My husband has tried multiple times to reach this company's billing department, only to be transferred and cut off. When I called to speak to a billing representative, I was forced to wait over 8 minutes. Then I was told this case could not be discussed with me, according to HIPPA violation. The INSURANCE is in MY name.

Adapthealth bought McKesson or took over the urostomy supplies. This has been through my insurance for years. I never had a bill from them. In fact they sent 3 months supplies every month so I was throwing them away. Although I had never had a bill from McKesson, Aapthhealth sent me me late payment bill with charges built up over a year for a bill I never had. There is no original bill or records. The put a 49 charge and a couple $8 charges and want $189. But there are no bills for the charges and was never a bill or charge. And would not have had because I did not need to buy anything I had too many supplies. It seems like they are trying to raise money for their securities class I am using all social media to find out how many others this is happening to as it is not worth a lawyers time but I live on social security and do not have an extra $189 for nothing. If I can get help I would appreciate it. It is a lot of work trying to find others to see if we can make a class action suit and I just want the false bill removed from collections and my record. This was an original complaint. Which they said they would contact me. I was waiting for the contact that never came. That case is closed. The new case is they keep sending more fraudulent bills. which now total $455 with late charges for bills and I never had. Although the new ones say first bill and are for past months. Next month I will probably get more. They just keep sending more for nothing. I never bought anything from them that there as a charge for. I know they have to show a past profit because of civil lawsuits about their SEC filings. However these fake bills are showing up on credit records and turned over to collections. I know they cannot attach my social security. I will have to file bankruptcy to clear my credit. I do not want to as there are people I really owe and want to pay, Since I had no bills there, I want these cleared up and no more fake bills created.

I have been a customer with this company for a few years now and I order my urological catheters every month through them. For the past few months, when I reorder my supplies, my order is cancelled and I get no notification that it is cancelled or the reason for the cancellation. I always have to follow-up with a phone call because their online chat is never available so I’m on hold for over an hour at times waiting to talk to a representative. When I finally speak to a representative, I’m always transferred at least 3 times until someone knows why my order was cancelled and every time there is a hold on my account for an outstanding balance because they do not submit claims to my insurance. I have the same insurance on file since becoming a customer and nothing has changed. I also confirmed my insurance information with them several times. I get told by a representative at Adapt Health that they are waiting for an EOB from my insurance and I need to call my insurance. So I call my insurance (Aetna) and talk to an Aetna representative in which they confirm that they do not have a claims from Adapt Health. Graciously, the Aetna representatives will call Adapt Health while I’m on the line and speak on my behalf that they do not have claims. Then magically, a representative at Adapt Health is able to lift the hold on my account so I can get my order shipped. However, there are claims from Adapt Health that are still not being submitted to my insurance.

As an ostomy patient for 20+ years I have used this business for my ostomy supplies. They are a medical necessity. In Aug I ordered 3 boxes of pouches with a quantity of 20 pieces. This is an appliance fitting over the wafer that I change daily. On Oct Oct 11 I contacted Adapt to order more pouches. I was told by 2 representatives that I would need to wait until Oct 5 to reorder according to my insurance policy. At this time I explained I was almost out of pouches and that I was to reuse them, clean the excrement out and allow to dry and reuse. I explained I have never done this and that was not hygienic or nasty were my exact words. I contacted my insurance company Oct 12 and spoke with a representative who stated that my insurance would cover it and that she would contact Adapt. Adapt still refused to send my order after getting an explicit go ahead with this stating once again to Adapt that these are a medical necessity. I have also filed a complaint with convatec on this company.
