My account had ******* stolen from me by someone using online gambling. The day before I bought a tv at *******. They shut down my card for a legitimate purchase. I could not get it medications. Im 70 years old and on social security. The next day they allowed online gambling to be taken from my account but they did not flag that.**** in the third world country who determines fraud treated me like a dog. I went in to branch and spoke to **** and hes just as disqusting and he even grabbed me and hugged me in his office.The entire bank is repulsive. At this point no one calls back when you wish to file a complaint. Almost two weeks later and I still can't get my medications and they refuse to return my ******* dollars. Every single card i use gets hacked. I've had 5 replacements. I just bought a car with a new card and that night i got hacked again.... ***** x 5.
The security at this bank is horrific...im in the middle of my daughters death hospice. I cant keep up with the hacking. The bank has a third world country handling customer complaints. I believe this third party is the person hacking my card so this bank has resolved nothing. This is a new complaint.

WHY IN THE ***** IS IT OK FOR YOU GUYS TO TAKE AN EXTRA $1.50 EVEN AFTER WE PAY 3$s OR MORE FOR AN *** FEE! Now WE ARENT JUST GETTING MONEY OUT WE ARE GETTING ROBBED! I was told every month $1.50 is taken from my account so I get three free *** transactions. I havent gotten one free *** transaction since I got my account. So explain to me where all of my money is going if I havent gotten one free *** transaction I want my money back! You cant tell people you get a free transaction and then not give them the free transaction but still take their money. Its not OK and if I do have to go to court, I will go to court for this like its not OK what you guys are doing you guys are robbing people thats $20 out of my account that I couldve used for something else. I barely ever use the *** to begin with and now youre taking money from me. Thats not OK what youre doing is called robbery.! I requested 1099c (cancellation of debt) for this charge off if the debt have been canceled forgiven or otherwise written off for tax purposes they are legally required to issue a 1099-c under *** regulations the failure to provide this document further raises concern about compliance with federal law ..26 US code 6050p.Since this charge off continues to negatively impact my credit score across all 3 bureaus I demand the creditor either provide the 1099c for cancellation of debt .provide proper documentation including the bill of sales or assignment contract or remove this account from my ********************** report..also creditor must send 1099c form to the debtor by January 31 must also file with the irs by February 28 (if filing by paper) or march 31 if filing electronically I requested proper documentation to see if those procedures was followed. Im requesting proper documentation verifying stating that the account belong to me and the creditor have the right to collect failure to provide these documents will leave to civil suits for damages I also requested a cease and desist until further proof of claims .also the it reporting inaccurately 1681(e)(b)Business Response

I spoke with associates at Member's First on several occasions, but the original incidents occurred in October and November 2022. I have called them back and forth with my last contact being in December 2024. They originally stated after my account was accidentally overdrawn by a credit company and money was going to be returned before the mortgage payment date that the money would automatically withdraw. It did not withdraw, and they turned off autopay without any letter or notifications, leading to a second late payment. They only told me initially that I needed to pay the late amount when I called in November which led to the second late payment and fees. My account has been in good standing for a long time after I re-established automatic payments when I called to have them unlocked, but the changes to my credit still have not happened like they agreed to take off and I now have a few notes on file in my credit that I disagreed with their ruling and no changes were being made after they were the ones who asked me to file the submission and it would be approved. I will never recommend them as a financial institution as it seems they have untrained staff in their offices or phones. All I have asked for my credit to be fixed due to their errors/mismanagement. I have told them during my past few phone calls that if it was not fixed by September/October 2024 with my letter, I would be filing with BBB, and they stated that they were going to work on a resolution.Business Response

Acted entirely rude when I inquired why my membership was rejected. Apparently owning a small business "isn't real employment" (their words, not mine) and I "moved too much and it caused my address to mismatch". Absolute nonsense. My main address listed should match, and sure their might be older ones, but to act like "normal people don't move that much" is atrocious. If you are that worried about people applying online, then don't even have that as an option!Business Response

On 4/30/24 I applied for a motorcycle Loan **** ** motors, I got approved by Members 1st credit union, the day of the transaction I was told all I needed was my ID and a copy of my insurance, I supplied both and, loan went through, 3 weeks later after Members 1st approved me for the loan and receiving the product, the credit union informed me they need a copy of declaration from my insurance, so I supplied them with the declaration I received from my insurance company for the product I purchased from them, and after they received the declaration of insurance from me, they said it wasn't good enough, and they will apply there own insurance I never agreed to, adding additional $1588 to the loan I refuse to pay because I haven't signed no paperwork or agreement for these additional charges, so therefore it is illegal for the credit union to add additional charges to a loan with out consistent of the bowwer , I have my own insurance I pay for the motorcycle and supplied Members 1st with the declaration, I can't afford to pay the additional amount they illegally add to my account with out my consent so the contract I have with Members 1st should be voidedBusiness Response

I respectfully present my complaints against Members 1st FCU to the Better Business Bureau due to their unresponsiveness and handling of several issues. Firstly, an unauthorized payment of $300.48 was processed by Esurance on August 26, 2024, causing an overdraft in my account. Subsequently, my card was closed, and the unauthorized charge could not be reversed. Despite filing a complaint against ********, the payment has not been accounted for and has negatively impacted me, leading to my insurance being cancelled.Secondly, two returns to ****** on September 23, 2024, amounting to $204.42 and $162.04, were not processed because of issues with my compromised card. ****** directed me to my bank, leaving these funds inaccessible to me.Lastly, rather than assisting in resolving these issues, I have endured persistent calls from Members 1st *** about my account's overdraft status and credit card payment, further escalating my ********* total, my funds of over $1000 are tied up causing financial burden, and preventing me from reinstating my insurance policy and meeting credit card obligations. I urgently request that Members 1st FCU critically review this matter and ***** provisional credit, as well as offering a swift resolution to restore normalcy and alleviate the emotional strain.The only way to initiate contact with me is via email at ***************************** Too much stress and anxiety caused by all the phone calls I'm receiving and not being able to do anything about it.
