Cheryl C**** is a professional. She is friendly, competent, and informative. When My wife and I brought our oil painting to her, she clearly explained the issues of the painting to us, her restoration process and the potential problems with restoring a painting that was nearly 200 years old. What I was impressed with was her cautious approach to restoration. She told us she would take the restoration step by step and if there were any unforeseen issues, she would contact us first before going any further. We agreed to have her do the work the final results were just incredible. The panting now shows no tears, chips, or blemishes. Most importantly the restoration blends in with the original patina and age of the oil painting and it is very difficult if not impossible to see where she made the repairs and repaints. I would highly recommend her to anyone having and oil painting restore. We are very satisfied customers.Review from Anthony R

Cheryl did a phenomenal job restoring a painting that had been in our family for generations. She took the time to explain how the process works, thorghly inspected the peice beforehand, pointing out details of the peice and how it impacted her approach (including a prior restoration we were unaware of) and then executed wonderfully. My wife was overwhelmed with how well the pice came out after Cheryl's caring touch. 50 years of tobacco stains, plus a recent "additon" done by a three year old with a permanent marker were all removed and the peice is more vibrant than ever. I would strongly reccomend. She is a pleasure to work with, and good at her craft.Review from Dawn B.

We bought a painting we really liked at auction, but unfortunately it had numerous tears, was extremely dirty and was badly in need of re-stretching. The auction house recommended Cheryl C**** to us and we couldn’t be happier with the restoration. We left two oil paintings with Miss Chase to be cleaned, restored and repaired. Her work is exemplary! She kept in touch along the way regarding the process and provided documentation for Insurance purposes. You can trust your family heirlooms to her care.Review from Mary Jo J

Cheryl did a fantastic job on my painting. It wasn't as old as I thought being from the forties but it was still special to me. I grew up with the picture and being the only girl in the family, my brothers let me have the picture. It has been part of my own family's life. It was an honor for me to restore something that was part of my entire life. My brothers were pleased by the fantastic job Cheryl accomplished. I sit and gaze at the painting and can't believe how beautiful it is. Thank you Cheryl.Review from Mark S

Cheryl did a magnificent job. I had emailed her with pictures of a family heirloom painting what am I three times great grandfather who did a self portrait. Paying 200 years old it was in disrepair. Cheryl took all the preparation‘s to make sure that the painting was properly prepared and took pictures of the process and gave me options on how it should be finished. When the portrait was finally done she had sent pictures of it and I nearly cried. She is thoroughly professional and one of the best I am so thrilled to have great grandpa back at home! Cheryl is absolutely the best when it comes to art restoration. We had a 1906 ***** **** ***** painting which had been previously restored but was in need of an improvement. She explained to us what needed to be done and took pictures during the process which she sent to us for our approval. Her work is the best an at a reasonable cost. If I ever need another art restoration, I will go to her. So should you! Bruce C. 8/6/2001
