I won an auction for multiple items. The one of the items was listed as "tested and working" We picked up the items and they loaded them on to our truck on march 20th. The item is the listed item from the invoice ***** ** * ***** *** *********** Stainless Steel Commercial Pizza Prep Table w/ Oversized Marble Cutting Board on Commercial Casters. 115 Volts, 1 Phase. 67.5x36x43. Tested and Working! $1020.00 I reached out to the company and have included the emails also. The items could not have been tested in anyway. There was no power cord and wires where cut on the inside. The are refusing to give me a refund on the item. The falsely listed this item ad working.

      Hi ******,

I do understand and apologize for your frustration. We believe that the cord was ripped off during pick up or transport of the item. We did confirm that this unit was tested and working for basic functionality prior to pick up. I apologize that your representative picking up your item did not bring this to my attention before she left. I have been working on the best solution to this issue since receiving your email. My best solution is for you to bring back the item to our warehouse so our General Manager can put a new plug on the unit. We would need to have the item returned to us by 3:30pm on Thursday, March 30th so our GM can put the plug on and test the item before you leave. Please call and schedule an appointment with me by 4pm today so our GM is ready when you arrive this week. Sorry for the inconvenience

We purchased an item from the auction. It arrived damaged and we submitted the claim along with pictures and all the requested items. the auction took actionns to communicate with the shipping company and file a claim. The reibmbursmnet amount is $222 which is not fair. We paid 973 for the item and 687 for the shipping we should be imbursed for the same amount at least if not more considering the time it took for them to communicate and the time the shipping company took to respond! I got an email today that they wanted us to accept the amount and sign a release so we don't have the right to sue or seek actions in this matter which is not fair.

      Business response

      10/04/2022

We understand that you are frustrated with the outcome of your damage claim, we are also very frustrated that the awarded amount is lower than the total cost of the invoice and shipping. It is important to know that the freight company originally denied your damage claim and we fought on your behalf to appeal that denial. When we received the updated approval, we also appealed the payout amount to recoup more of your lost funds. However, the freight company denied that appeal and is only providing the originally approved amount.
Our request for a signed Release of Claims letter is standard across all industries when dealing with damage/insurance claims and is a required step for our company to be able to provide you with the money that is rightfully yours. It is also important to note that your acceptance of our terms and conditions did put you on notice that Removal of items shall be at the expense, liability, and risk of the buyer. In addition to this, you had the full and fair opportunity to either pick up your won items or set up shipping through your own freight company should you desire. Neither of these options were chosen.
We have done everything we can to fight for you on this and we now just want to get your damage claim paid out so you can recoup as much of your loss as possible.

I brought equipment described as tested and working I paid $425 for the item wait 3 days to plug in per the instructions and the item doesn't work.

      Business response

      03/26/2022

We are sorry that the item you received is not what you expected, however, we represented the item accurately. The item that you won in auction was tested and it was working here at our facility but we cannot account for what happens to an item once it is removed from our facility. We do not have any control over how the item is transported and unloaded after it leaves our warehouse. This is clearly stated in our terms and conditions which you electronically agreed to numerous times. We also provided this response in a timely manner by email to you when you brought this issue to our attention.  You knowingly and willingly purchased this item as a used item at auction without warranty or guarantee as spelled out by our terms and conditions and we adhered to those terms and conditions.

This company quoted me a price for my equipment of 30k-50k just to get my equipment. Than they came and got my equipment destroyed my place and they stole things from my building and did not take everything we agreed on. I talked to the manager Tim and he to me they would take care of me with a discount of 20% commission instead of there 30%. Than they never sent me the link to my items until they was sold. The equipment sold for in like 5 days and for only 6k but they sent me a check for 2,157.03 this is not ok at all.

      Business response

****, we are sorry to hear that you did not have a great experience with us. We hold our team accountable to providing the best service
possible, and your description of the situation is simply untrue, exaggerated, or missing all the information. Your appraisal
was based on taking everything within the building. Once our team arrived, there were a lot of items that we no longer were able to take.
There were multiple people and companies removing items prior to our arrival who could have damaged your property, so
to blame us is completely absurd. No one from our team stole anything from your establishment. In fact, you offered items from your
establishment to our team. Once the items arrived, we did list them on the site and send you all the information to the contact
information that was provided to us. We did agree to lower the rate, but it was not to 20%. Throughout this process, our team has worked with
you to resolve any issues as quickly and as fairly as possible, which has been done. As such, we owe you nothing more.

On Nov 16, 2021; my daughter won a **** ***** * slushie machine in a PCI Auction; for a total cost of $1067. This was paid for on my credit card, as I picked it up for her. The auction ad clearly stated- "tested and working". Upon getting home it was evident that it was not working. It would take $200 in parts to be operational, not to mention that it didn't even get cold. Emails to the business office stated that they knew that the unit was low on refrigerant during their testing,, but the ad never stated this. When asked if there was any recourse back to the seller, they stated that it was used therefore there's no going back to seller. We've now spent an additional $300 and it's still not operational.

**** - We are sorry that you did not have a 5-star experience with our auctions. On our bid sheets, we do our best to properly convey the current state, appearance, and functionality of all items. We include 10+ photos and test the items to the best of our ability. For most items, such as the slushie machine, we are testing the functionality and do not have the ability to test the refrigerant levels. We do understand there is a risk with bidding on items and encourage all bidders to visit our warehouse and see the items in person or contact our team with any questions. If you would like to speak further about this experience or others please contact our office, we look forward to the opportunity to speak with you.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:
This a the typical copy/paste response that I've gotten from them in other submissions. This does not address the issue. There was NOT 10+ photos, nor did the photos have pics of the interior of the unit, where the damage occurred. An email response, from their office, stated that they 'knew that the unit was low on refrigerant'. Based on the assessment of the repair person; a unit that is low on refrigerant has a LEAK. Listing a unit as "tested and working!", should mean just that- that it works without issue. This unit took $200+ in additional parts to work, and still required a certified repair person to address; since it took a form of refrigerant that only HVAC folks can acquire. Only for the repair person to charge me another $200 and tell me that his repair would not last 2 weeks due to the leak; and they re-plumbing the machine would be more than it's worth. So no, this response is completely unacceptable. My daughter signed ther terms, but it was my **** card that was used. :)Regards,

On 8/23/2021 I purchased toner cartridges from **** ** **** Auction. I have purchased many toner cartridges and other items from PCI Auctions with great satisfaction. However in this instance, when I went to pick-up the toner cartridges that I won on the auction I was shocked to find that ALL of the boxes of cartridges were OPENED and the cartridges were USED and EMPTY. In fact, one of the boxes was "just an empty box"! These items should have never been presented for auction in the first place and the photos of the cartridges did not reveal the ** cartridges had been opened. I questioned the auction employee about the condition of the items and he stated I needed to contact the office, which I did. I was told ALL SALES WERE FINAL. I contacted PCI Auctions again explaining the situation and they stated they would talk to the finance department. They ended up refunding my credit card after many emails and then permanently suspended my bidding privileges. This was not my fault!

      Business response

      09/13/2021

We appreciate you reporting that our office was working with you in regard to your invoice and that we refunded your credit card in full for this purchase. However, we would like to clarify that your bidding privileges were not suspended due to the issue that you faced with your invoice. Your bidding privileges were suspended due to violating our terms and conditions and filing a chargeback against our company for your invoice. Filing a chargeback is a violation of the terms and conditions that you agreed to before bidding with our company. Based on this violation we had to terminate your bidding privileges. Had you not violated the terms and conditions and continued to work with us until a solution was agreed upon, we would have been happy to continue to allow you to bid with our company.

       Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:  You state I violated your terms of service.  Well you violated mine by presenting an item for auction that should have NEVER been listed and then whether intentional or not posted very deceptive photographs suggesting the items were new and sealed when in fact they were opened and used.  That was my reason for return and asking for a refund.  It's like you buy something from ******** return it, and ******* doesn't allow you in the door to shop anymore.  It's absolutely absurd!!  I would really appreciate you re-thinking this one, I mean REALLY think about how this situation came to be from me being a consumer,  Thank you.

      Regards,

I bid on several auctions because it stated that do their best to be honest on their listings and report any problems with items. Based on their listings I bid several thousand dollars. There was no problems with working on shipment. However items arrivef broken especially with East Coast NJ. The items that were broken were visable to the eye. To see if it was a habit I relisted the same exact items as an auction with other items to see how they would post it. The gentleman pointed out those items saying there were problems However, when they posted it confirmed that they do not list any of the broken items and they listed it under different business name. They purposely scam businesses.

They sold me junk that was listed as "tested and working". It was a blender that was listed as "tested and working", I wouldn't have bid on it if it wasn't. Both the safety switch on the pitcher and the base were broken and nonfunctional. I called the manufacturer to see if it was fixable and they said I would have to replace both the base and the pitcher. At that point I might as well but a new blender. I spoke with their manager Ashley who refused both a refund and an auction credit arguing that to them "tested and working" could just mean that their "technician" plugged it in and heard it make noise, obviously either their technician is incompetent or they are a fraudulent auction house...This is the second time I have bought a nonfunctioning item from them. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, I won't be fooled a third time. I've dealt with quality auction houses in the area like Hess auctioneers and Keller auctioneers, Pci auctions does not belong in the same cate
