THEY RIPPED ME OFF!! I brought my car in on 11/29 bc the check engine light was on. They ran diagnostics and said it was the evap purge valve and I gave them the 'Ok' to fix the issue. They had to order the parts and they "fixed" it on 12/4. When George called me and told me my car was done, I asked him is my car ok to drive? I asked him MULTIPLE TIMES and he kept reassuring me that it was. He said his mechanic drove it around for "a while" and that it's good to drive. I drove home (which was right in back of the shop; less than 30 seconds away). NOT EVEN 1 hour after getting my car back, I went to drive to the store. I get around the corner from my house and all of a sudden my car wouldn't even go pass 30/35 mph when it starts to go idle. I'm pressing the gas and it feels like the car is in neutral. This was during RUSH HOUR and I could've gotten into an accident!!! I spent over $1,000 for them to "fix" what THEY SAID was the issue and THEY SAID was "drivable".

I go back to try to talk to them about a possible refund or if they can at least give me back something considering he INSISTED it was drivable but it was NOT. I feel like George and the mechanic tried to play me because I'm a female with saying "Oh, the car was drivable when he drove it." I COMPLETELY FEEL RIPPED OFF!!! Within less than an 1 hour and driving between 30/35 mph I'm suppose to believe the mechanic OVER the car that's not driving and MY own experience??? I know my car has other issues, but when someone tells you something is "fixed" it and it's "drivable" and within less than an 1 hour it's NOT, you tell me who should I believe??? When I tried to present the matter in an objective perspective of trusting HIS word, all George kept saying "the car was drivable when he drove it." That was VERY condescending for him to keep telling me my car was "drivable when he drove it." I don't trust ANYONE who can't view things in an objective perspective!!!
