RJ roofing aka RJ Future roofing (79 Canal street Greenville Pa.), (***********************) Robert Y**** and Chester Y**** were contracted to replace a roof in 2018 at *** ******** **** *********** **** including an 8 year warranty for materials and labor and were paid $27,350. We chose this system based on a sample provided and claims that it would last 30 years and would only need another top coating at some point. The contract stated that any damaged decking boards were to be replaced and a Conklin Spray Foam roofing system was to be installed. We were told that this system would fix the low slope of our roof and create positive drainage by making the SPF thicker at the high end of the building. The slope issue was not fixed and improper installation of the SPF has created widespread ponding water. The damaged or missing boards were not properly addressed. We have come to discover the products were not only incorrectly installed, but cheaper versions of coatings by similar names that are unsuitable for this application and carry no fire rating were substituted. (Rapid roof HV instead of Rapid roof III & Primetime instead of Primetime plus) A heater stack that was rusted through was spray foamed over creating a potentially dangerous situation. The roof has failed annually since installation and the coatings are breaking down. Attempts to repair the roof were done incorrectly and were not prepared properly causing the new top coat of our roof to peel off in sheets.
