I purchase a Car at divan auto group in pa I paid cash they was supose to mail out title it never came was sent to wrong address the car dealer is not taking responsibility for getting me a new title the motor vehicle in pa said they still have title with car dealer it's been 3 months. I brought car in november 2022 looking at legal action.Business response

RESOLVED ALL ISSUES WITH CUSTOMER. CUSTOMER FINANCED A VEHICLE THROUGH BANK AND DEALERSHIP MAILED TITLE TO ADDRESS MATCHING ON CUSTOMER'S DRIVER LICENSE. CUSTOMER HAS MOVED FROM THAT ADDRESS THEREFORE NEVER RECEIVED TITLE. CUSTOMER TODAY MARCH 2ND 2023 HAS AGREED TO COVER COST OF DUPLICATE TITLE. RESOLVED COMPLAINT PLEASE CLOSE OR CANCEL FOR RECORD.Customer response

Well good morning my name is ************************* and I'm filing a complaint with Devon Auto Group because I was one of the purchase of car *** **** and at the time I was about to have surgery so I saw the car I liked and the guy told me that the car was great but I said I wanted to hold the car until after my surgery and when I just got out my surgery I called him I said look I want to put something down so I can hold the car and I was asking me it was something wrong with the car he told me no everything's okay so mind you I goes a week after my surgery so we go up there in the Uber me and my wife mind this a Christmas present from her to me and when I looked at the car the car suspension was low its car wasn't like I thought it was in the picture the guy said ask me you should take it to a mechanic before you go I said I couldn't even get the thing off 5 minutes when I walk the car the transmission with but mind you when I test drive it the car that had no gas the back tire light indicator was on then as I said I first call maybe they fixed it they said they fixed it while I was sitting there and everything was okay I drives off I get 5 minutes from the order the transmission thing kicked in the transmission shut down they told me to take it to her place took her to the place and then they told me to go to another spot where the car was going to fix it would fix it turn around the car wasn't fixed I just got too much going on with this car I want my money back this is all this is about and they knew that I couldn't get my mechanic to check the car because I had surgery and I couldn't move around like that and as I was taking the car back the tire came off as I was taking the car back it's a mess they are a bunch of liars a cheats and I want something done about this and I need help finding to go to court with thisBusiness response

Divan auto group has done nothing but good business with the customer. We have replaced the transmission for customer worth over $2500. The customer left happy and we also covered every **** ride that there was needed as courtesy. We are not able to accept the return of the vehicle, yet we are able to offer trade in value for the vehicle. Sincerely, Management.Initial Complaint

I purchase a vehicle december 18 2022 from divan auto group at ******************************************** after signing the agreement i was told that by ************ could bring the vehicle back with a 20% off after asking ***** twice if there was a engune light on he indicsted to me there was no engine light the following week after getting the plates i was issued a temp inspection sticker afterward did a diagnostic to find that there was a e gine light a oil light and a catalyticconverter problem immediately i call ***** and let him know what the problem he told me he needs to tk to his boss his boss contact me an we couldnt reach an agreement i informed him that the contract says *** can return the vehicle with a 20% off to no avail i was disrespected by the mgr and i want my money back which is 6500 dollar. THIS IS TO BEWARE ALL BUYERS THAT TBE VEHICLES ARE DEFECTED AND THEY DONT TELL THERE BUYERS PLEASE READ THE REVIEWSBusiness response

The restocking fee is up to managers decision and mostly applies to vehicles newer then 10 years of age. We have fully disclosed and signed the attached contract stating "ALL SALES ARE FINAL WITH NO RETURN/REFUNDS/EXHANGES". We simply follow the rules of the signed legal buyers order. Please note purchased motor vehicle was sold and contracted "AS-IS" per signed federal Buyers Guide and dealership does not stay responsible of the problems a used motor vehicle might have - also attached. Last but not least also attached is paperwork stating Purchaser has declined any offered warranty by Divan auto group. We are not able to help the purchaser , the decision is completely conducted based off of signed contract at time of sale. Sincerely, Management

Bought a 2008 ******** limousine For 16,000 Used the vehicle 3 times and the vehicle Started smoking and almost caught fire With clients inside Took it to a mechanic who informed us that it was rigged together by zip ties and that the wrong screws were in vehicle. With this issue its causing us to lose a lot of money they said the checked it out which was not true they need to be put out of business before someone dies behind the foolishnessBusiness response

Discussed the issue with client, vehicle was purchased nearly 7 months ago , and driven for PA to Florida.
As explained to customer we do not guarantee specialty vehicles such as limousines and the as-is Federal Buyers Guide was signed off at time of purchase. Also offered to client to trade the vehicle in for current market trade in value which he was satisfied to hear and stated he will get back to us.SINCERELY, Management

To Whom It May Concern,
Divan auto group's 20% restocking policy is up to managemenet's final decision. 20% Re-stocking fee is not a stated guarantee of taking the vehicle back.
Company's policy is to every vehicle over 15 years old is not eligible for a re-stocking factor.
Such as "Final Sale with No Return" is mentioned in customer's signed Bill of Sale which was received at time of sale and unfortunately not attached to the complaint.
Divan auto group cannot assist the customer since the sale was conducted on a signed contract stating "AS-IS" transaction.
