Element owned vehicle was towed to Crawford after being involved in an incident. Crawford refuses to release the vehicle into our custody. Copy of release letter and title showing Element as the owner was sent to Crawford allowing us to pick up vehicle, however, **** with Crawford still refuses to let vehicle go. We think this is a ploy for the shop to continue to accrue chargesBusiness response

Thank you for contact us regarding this matter.
Please be informed that when we tow a vehicle we are not supplied owner information at the time of the accident and we will contact the Police Department that requested the tow service for the Registered Owner's information so that we contact and get the release from the proper individual.
Although the vehicle is a leased vehicle it is not Registered in PA to *******, it is Registered to ****** ******* ** LLC - please see attached Registration Card as well as the contact information we received from *********** Police Department.
From the very initial communication with ********** & ******* we informed them that we needed someone from ****** ******* ** LLC to contact our office, yet they continued to insist that we did not need to speak to the actual Registered Owner of the vehicle. Please see attached email communications were we time and time again advised that we needed to speak to someone from ****** ******* ** LLC. At one point they called and impersonated someone from Sanofi Aventis and when we requested an email address, they were stumped and gave an email address from **********.com. At that time we again verbally advised we needed to speak to someone from ****** *******.
Once they had ***************** of ****** contact me and we sent and received back our Release form on 6/15/21 we notified ************************ that it was released and available for pick up. Please see attached emails between ***************** & Crawford's, the signed release form and our email to * *******. They picked it out the following day.
