      They offered the Lowest Price, for the Best Equipment, I could find for "My Replacement Generac Generator". Monyer Electric's Team was Prompt, Professional, Provided Service Above and Beyond what I Expected and A Pleasure to Work With. They provided a Memorable Experience to an Unwanted but much needed system restoration. You need to check with them before making a decision for your electric Generator needs.

      I solicited bids for a 26 Kw whole-house generator from four widely-recommended contractors. One did not respond, another offered a proposal that was incomplete and in violation of code, and a third proposed a solution nearly 40% more costly than the others. Monyer Electric stood out in every respect. Their bid was detailed and compliant, their cost was in line with what I expected, and they demonstrated great flexibility when I asked for a shift from propane to natural gas to power the generator. Every time I had a question, I got a prompt, accurate, and informative answer. Everyone from the owner to the back office to the on-site work crew was prompt, responsive, professional, cordial, and helpful, from the initial site survey through processing of permit applications with my township to final installation and testing. I could not have asked for a better experience, and I strongly recommend Monyer to anyone needing a whole-house generator or other electrical work.

      They replaced a generator. I told them I wanted to make sure it was up to code because I was planning to sell my house in the next couple of years. When I went to sell my house I found they had never pulled a permit, the generator not in code at the current location and now that the house is sold I find I have a permit violation and have to move the generator. They have not responded to my calls and emails.

      We have been trying to reach this customer to help out with the situation and have been unable to do so. We pull permits for all of our jobs and this job did not require one since they had a generator previously installed and it was simply a swap. The inspection was done on our end and passed. We are willing to work with this customer but are not able to reach them to do so.

      BEWARE, avoid this company at all costs. Scam artist extraordinaire. We contracted Nate Monyer in November of 2021 to install a Generac whole house generator. We were told by him that he had a unit in stock and could have it installed late February of 2022. Although I felt his price was high, I agreed because he had it in stock. I gave him a deposit in excess of $6,000 with the balance to be paid when completed. February got a call, delayed until March. April then May avoids emails calls, finally I was told that the Generator was not being delivered to them because of supply shortages. But wait, YOU said it was in stock. I requested a refund. They would send a refund but keep $500 for restocking fees! When I questioned what they were restocking, he changed his story to “it is for administrative fees”. Then he told me he would take the generator off his show room floor to install late June. That story then changed to he had one from another customer who wasn’t in a hurry and I could have his (yeah right another poor guy who won’t get his on time). Nate just kept fabricating excuses and apparently got lost in his own tales. Bottom line I finally gave up and did receive a refund minus $500. He took advantage of an elderly couple. Be smarter than I was, bad karma here.

      We tried very hard to work with Ken so I'll bring some clarification to what happened. First, we had a shipment that was supposed to come in which would have given us inventory of the size generator he wanted. Our supplier canceled that due to parts shortages and our inventory manager was not aware of the delays immediately so Ken was told that the unit was in route and that we would have it on our floor for installation. Once we explained what happened he decided to wait for his generator to come in. Once his generator came in, we tried to schedule it with him but he said it was too far out and he wasn't happy with the date and asked for a refund. Our office has a restocking/administration fee that is shown on the contract which we tried to explain to him. In his case, the restocking fee didn't apply but the administration fee did since we had already organized permitting, propane company, job material ordering, etc for his specific job. Since he wasn't happy with the date of install, we tried to get a crew together for him to work overtime at our expense but he was already not happy with the refund policy and that he had to pay for the administrative work that we had already done for him so he took his loss of $500 and requested a refund. There were no stories being told and we're certainly not characterized by doing bad business. Unfortunately Ken was not understanding why we needed to reserve $500 for the work that we had already completed and also stated in the contract that he signed for the generator. I feel very bad for Ken and wished for a different outcome.
