Paid this location $4,000 just to walk out of this location and to have the check engine light come on 5 miles down the road. And then when we bring it back to them for other code issues that they left after "fixing" the vehicle, they claim “oh you didn’t tell us to fix the check engine light, if you want us to look at it again, you need to pay a $75 diagnostic fee, even though we just completed the work a few days ago, and the TPMS not communicating is your issue not mine”. We had 19 lines of work completed on my husbands vehicle. Tech manager came out upon returning with the car yelling at my husband that it's not his problem that there are 5 new engine codes on the car, among 5 other codes that popped up. He claims he cleared everything and test drove the car after work was completed. This is false, as the new codes would have came up for him as well once he drove it like it did for us 5 miles away. Service manager did not know "how to clear the codes, as you need to use the dashboard and the buttons were stuck". This is false, you use a code reader to clear the codes. I feel that we have been taken advantage of, and this dealership location just wanted the money from us. We now need to bring this vehicle to another VW dealership in order to have them fix this location's problems, and probably pay more money to have them fix this locations mistakes. We are simply disgusted at how this “manager” treated us after paying this much money and now they won’t (and we don’t want them to either) fix the rest of the repairs, and just took our money. We paid for the repairs Friday, October 21 on 2 separate credit cards. One for $3k and one for $1.1k.
