I would give Physician Recommended Nutriceuticals (PRN) a no star rating if I could. There are several things potential customers need to be aware of regarding PRN practices. To start with, when they say that they ship every 12 months, they are not talking about calendar months, but every 30 days (the number of capsules in each bottle), will start another month. This means that if are expecting to be able to cancel just before the 12 months are up, you will be out of luck. They will charge your credit card using their unique system of calendaring without notifying you and then tell you that they can't give a refund or take their Vitamins back. Also, they do have a system in place to contact you 10 days before the shipment ships but never tell you that you need to opt in to get this phone call. Also, when your first shipment ships, they will include along with several advertisements when your next shipment will come, along with a warning that you need to contact them 72 hours before the shipping date to cancel. I don't remember seeing these details with the shipment and they will never make you aware of the cancellation policy in the future, not in writing, by phone call, or on their website. In fact, none of the above policies can be found on their website. It appears that everything about PRN is geared to get the product shipped before you can cancel. The only way to get this canceled is to dispute charges with your credit card company. Just make sure you don't open the shipment when it comes so the merchandise can be returned once PRN realizes that they can't win this battle with the credit card company. Additionally, while you are talking to PRN about this shipment, make sure you cancel all future shipments so you are not fighting charges in the future. ***My situation has been resolved and I did receive a full refund after I returned my shipment at my own cost. I have placed an order in December with a 40% discount and subsribe for every 3 months. However, I received an order comfirmation email yesterday showing it's been charged the original price. I immediately contacted them to question why it's charged for the origanl price. After my email was sent, my order was shipped. The customer service told me they can not offer the discount price and the order cannot be cancelled because IT'S SHIPPED. However, I don't get any information that discount rate cannot apply to the subscription. I will not subscribe if it's not discounted price as we can easily find lower price from other website. Moreover, even though the representative stated that the order is shipped, the UPS tracking only shows the label created. It means they only just printed the label but not really shipped. PRN saying they dont accept return due to safe and effective reason. How can the product is not safe if they are still in your distribution center? Stay away from their horrible and misleading website and purchase procedures. if you really need this product, get it from other resources.Review from Alan W

This "business" should have a BBB rating of F. With your rating of AAA for this company, I think you've proven that your ratings are worthless. Like many of the other people who have given a 1 star review, I was charged for a delivery that I never ordered. After further review, it appears you placed a phone order on 11/13/21 where our Product Advisor reviewed the home delivery program with you as well as informed you of how and when to cancel any future orders if necessary. Your eye health is our main concern and we strive to make it easy for our customers to continue taking our products once they see the benefits, therefore the order is delivered automatically to you on the same frequency of the order that was placed. You have complete control and can call to make changes, expedite or cancel orders at any time prior to the order processing. This company refuses to cancel any purchases by claiming that the purchase cannot be returned or refunded. They have sent me four unwanted shipments, totalling over $2000. In each shipment, I have emailed, phoned, and spoken with individuals who told me in various ways that the money could not be refunded nor the product returned. They play round robin, directing their customers to phones that are not answered. Messages are unreturned and billing is automatically taken from credit cards. On the last package sent, I informed them that my wife had died of COVID19, and their product was no longer needed as it was not being used by anyone. Even the death of a customer will not deter them from foisting their tactics to gouge money from seniors who are in terrible grief. In my last communication with customer service, I informed them about the previous conversation we had, where they said they would contact me about the shipment prior to them sending it out. That call never happened and the unwanted package arrived. When I called again to tell them that they did not contact me as they had promised, they said that I did not answer my phone. There is no record on my incoming calls of this happening, and no message left to indicate that they had called. I want to terminate with prnomegahealth.com and recoup all moneys that have been wrongfully wrested from my account. This email shall serve as a response to Mr. William Boera's complaint. Mr. and Mrs. William B**** have been on our home delivery program / automated shipments since April 2018. Since that time there have been a total of 7 orders to date. In every order, which is included in every packing slip for each order, there is a "Save the date" which shows the next order date as well as our terms and conditions. The "save the date" can also be seen in the pictures provided by Mr. Boera. The terms and conditions state that we require a phone call at minimum 72 hours prior to any order processing if there are changes to be made. Once an order is processed, the sale is final. In addition, prior to every order since 2018, there have been reminder phone calls to the number we have on file---845-269-2813---about 10 days prior to every order as a courtesy. Mr. B**** has acknowledged in a previous conversation that he was aware of the reminder calls going out prior to every order as well as the process of recurring orders coming out consistently . The dates of the reminder calls are as follows: 09-28-2018 03-29-2019 09-25-2019 03-23-2020 09-17-2020 03-18-2021 We have spoken to Mr. William B**** on the following dates regarding either issues with payment for the order or some form of customization regarding the next order: 04-08-2019 10-10-2019 03-29-2021 04-16-2021 Specifically regarding the most recent order on 03-29-2021, Mr. William B**** was credited for the full amount. Mr. B**** has filed a credit card dispute for that order and was credited $379.08 by his financial institution 04-28-2021 (see attachments below) as well as credited $204.12 by us on 03-30-2021. In summary, we received no notification that Mr. William B**** wanted to cancel his shipments until 04-16-2021 which was after his final order with us and he was credited in full for that order. Due to the nature of the products we are unable to accept product back. We do and can make exceptions, however, given that Mr. B**** was credited in full for his most recent order---by his financial institution and PRN---there is no further action needed to be taken. Received an order by surprise! Was not expecting it and do not want it. Could not find any info about orders for my account on website. The vitamins caused severe nausea when I tried them six months ago and was not expecting automatic shipments. Was not even notified that a shipment was to be expected. Our terms and conditions state that you are enrolling in our home delivery program which would have the product come out to you on a consistent frequency---in this case every 6 months. You are in complete control of your orders and have the ability to change, expedite, delay or cancel your orders at any time as long as we receive 72 hours notice to make the change. Your order is of a pharmaceutical grade and meant to be taken long term. Furthermore, once an order is processed we are unable to restock due to safety reasons. Additionally, all of your orders are accessible via our website and if you ever have any issues viewing them do not hesitate to reach out to us as a customer service representative is standing by to help you. The PRN subscription pricing is nothing but a scam taking advantage of people not realizing that they are committing to an automatic purchase a year away. Who, in their right mind is going to buy a naturopathic pill and want it automatically renewed a year later? This item is available on Amazon with no strings attached, but PRN's site allows only home delivery subscription pricing. I can't even remember a purchase I made a year ago. I'm pretty observant so, if I "agreed" to a subscription, I probably meant to cancel it after the fact. However like many of us when it comes to remembering to cancel a subscription (e.g. HULU, Starz, Adobe, etc.), I probably forgot. I complained to PRN and was told they alerted me via a phone message 10 days before the shipment. I don't listen to phone messages left by unknown callers. As they will surely point out in their answer to this complaint, PRN is within their rights to do all of this and did nothing technically wrong. It is still a scam that takes advantage of people, similar to the controversial automatic "opt in" practices that upset so many people for the same reasons. There are better ways to handle this without people feeling taken advantage of. I'll never use this product again.Physician Recommended Nutriceuticals Response

After a further review of your account it appears you placed a call to us on 06/17/20 and placed a year supply order, in which we provided the next order processing date to you as well as set up a courtesy reminder call for you on 06/2/21, 10 days prior to your next shipment. As you may know, our products are a long term regimen and recommended by your Doctor to be taken consistently, which is why we encourage customers to become set up on our Home Delivery Program so you will always have product before you run out. You are in complete control and can delay, expedite, change or even cancel at any time. Furthermore, our Home Delivery Program is suggested, however, we do offer one-time purchases of our products as well for those that do not wish to be on our program.
