St. Joseph Services installed a shingle roof did a seeming good job. after first rain one of the gutter downspouts is clogged. Its 30 feet high and is spilling over. contacted ** twice and sent pictures of water gushing over the edge. possible damage is probably happening. Also sent pictures of overflowing water. It has been 2 months still no response. this was a $23,000.00 job and he was paid in full the day of completion. He never oversaw or inspected the final work himself. Dont make final payment until it rains

Hi ****, Thank you for your input. But are you sure you're being fair?Saint Joseph Services always addresses concerns of paying customers. Just yesterday we made a siding repair for a customer who's roof we replaced recently. She called because she was getting water in her house during the storm. The leak was due to damaged siding unrelated to our project and we did the repair for free. During the course of your project it was necessary to replace a good amount of rotten wood decking. When you were billed this additional amount on the final invoice you disputed the amount of wood replaced and shorted the final payment $1,300.00. When I asked, you were unable to look at the project with me. This balance remains unpaid. You contacted us a roughly a month after the project was completed because a downspout was clogged. I am hesitant to make an hour drive to look at a clogged downspout that *** or *** not be because of the work we did when you're not able to meet with me to discuss the disputed amount of wood replacement. If you're willing to meet with me at the site and show to me why you think we have the incorrect amount of wood replaced on the final invoice I would be more than happy to clean the downspout regardless of why it's clogged.
