This is a storage unit facility. I have been a customer for over 16 years and I have never missed a bill. My problem is that in august Northwest Storage Inc was taken over by Master Key Storage. They transferred over to an online billing and communication system. I agreed to my original price ($120) and set up auto pay. When it was taken over I was told that on the first of the new year (January 1, 2023), there would be a $15 increase on my bill per month from $120 to $135. I was told it wouldn't be in affect until the first of the new year. I received a letter on September 15th that was dated September 1st, it said my rent was going up $51.00 starting on October 1st 2022, to a total of $171.00 a month. I called them to ask why it was being raised and ask for more time on my bill and they said they would give me the month of October paying $120 and then they went and pulled $171 out anyways. I was lied to about getting an extension. They said they were raising rent because of "improvements" but there hasn't been improvement to the property.Business response
