I stayed at this location in August 2021. I needed a place immediately as we were driving from Washington to **********. It was late and I chose this place because of the location and I booked through hotels.com. The room was disgusting. There was trash from the previous guest, the room had probably not been actually cleaned cleaned in weeks if not months, and there was a bag filled with some kind of red residue powder like found under the bed. Luckily my adult sister had found that before my seven-year-old daughter. I have reached out to both the hotel, the company, and hotels.com, and all refuse to even acknowledge the disgusting and unsanitary mess that the hotel was as well is refused to give me a refund for my stay. This has been an ongoing issue for over two months. They will respond to you for short periods of time and then completely ignore you.Business response

I stayed at Days Inn Roseburg on June 15th of this year and checked out the next morning. I called the hotel a few hours after checking out to report that I had lost a gold and diamond ring, and was notified by the front desk clerk that housekeeping had located it and the ring would be mailed to me immediately. I offered to pay for all mailing costs. Almost three months later now, it has not been returned. I called multiple times and was told each time that they were going to send it out. They have not done so. There is no valid reason NOT to return lost property to a guest, so I suspect that it has been stolen. The corporate office contacted this hotel and the owner after I initiated a complaint, but they did not return my ring even after that. I will be filing a small claims case for the value of the ring, but would like to report this business as very unethical and dishonest.
