I bought a car here in February 2023- ******** had sold me my vehicle (2020 ***** spark) After not even a month later the check engine light came on checking the oil it was severely low and I added to it. This happened a couple more times until I found out I have an oil leak. ******** had told me I may need an oil change soon which makes me think that he was aware of this oil leak and still sold me a faulty car. Im a first time car buyer and I have to pay over **** dollars to fix this issue. The mechanic at seaport auto wouldnt ************* and wanted me to pay 70 dollars to get it diagnosed when I can go to a ***** dealership and have it diagnosed for free: this feels really scammy and Ive read multiple reviews online about this happening to other people as well..Business response

We have tried reaching the consumer on the telephone number provided on the complaint and the call was unable to be completed. We have emailed the consumer and are awaiting a response. We will be happy to address her concerns when she reaches out.Initial Complaint

Before purchasing a vehicle at this location, we were informed that the dealership provides a loaner vehicle for cars that will take longer to provide a service for. My check engine light is coming on and started flashing before I have made my first car payment. The service manager ***** transfered my to the sales manager ****, who denied this information we were told as well. Seems like they will tell you anything you want to hear to get you to buy a car at this location. Then they deny anything they said. All in all they want to keep our only other vehicle while they look at it to see whats is wrong and who knows how long that could be. Very unprofessional salesman and department to treat their customers who spend thousands of dollars at their buisness.Business response

We have reached out to the consumer. She did purchase a extended service contract. We told her that we would be more than willing to look at her vehicle, and the warranty she purchased may cover a rental reimbursement depending on what is wrong with the vehicle. We also offered to waive the $100 deductible of her extended service contract if she brought the vehicle into our shop to be diagnosed. We also stated that we do not have loaner cars available, and that we will review that with our sales staff so there is no future misunderstandings about rental vehicles. It is never our intent to be unclear with a consumer, or have a misunderstanding.
